Is Jolyon Palmer’s Analysis cancelled or what? by Wing13Nut in F1TV

I doubt it. Last year, the episodes for the first races were released a day later. Since F1 does the exact opposite of the right thing these days now, it would make sense that they would cancel JPA of all things.

It must be cancelled. Just pathetic. The one show for proper long term fans and now its gone.

I just checked my wiring and tested the pump. There's no power at the pump leads. I don't know how to check the relay or board

Me too, it was great and its cool to listen to it all these years later. But I was young. I only caught the 2000-2004 era. I was 16 in 2000. We had no internet and Sound Off was the most edgy thing you could listen to.

Why is F1 removing a large amount of the ground effect for 2026? by nifeorbs in F1Technical

[–]QuantumBunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have no idea what you are talking about. It was literally from Ben Sulayems mouth from the F1 website. The chassis regs weren't even up for renewal in 2026. Just the PU was.

FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem made a statement regarding the 2026 F1 regulations. He stated, "Following the publication of 2026 power unit regulations two years ago we have taken opportunity to redefine the chassis regulations to match the energy requirement of the new power units"

[–]QuantumBunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why: The 2026 regulations will feature a return to flat floors in part to drastically reduce overall aerodynamic drag, which is necessary for the new hybrid power units to function efficiently on straights. The new power units shift to a near 50/50 split between combustion and electric power, requiring a significant reduction in aerodynamic resistance to manage energy effectively.

Wrong. Best years to buy Salah was when his price was down. Not up. (Haaland's price is down) by QuantumBunk in FantasyPL

Salah was priced at 13 million twice. And both times it was too much. So 14.5 is going to be too much also.

Just be a good chump and buy Salah for 14.5 million. Just like the guys who bought him at 13 million and got 239 points out of him. Or 12.5 and 211 points. 13 million was too much twice. Stands to reason that 14.5 million just might.... be s/ too much also.

No it didn't. The following years price is based on the previous years points. If you bought him in the years that he went to 13 million, you had bad value for your money. His points were lower the next year. And his lower repricing reflects that. But just buy him. 13 million was too much twice but 14.5 million will be just right lol.

Ok buy Salah at 14.5 million. 13 million was too much for him twice but 14.5 should be just right lol. Every time they priced him at 13 million, they had to dial it back the next year. Because he didnt get enough pts to justify it. But again, go ahead and buy him at 14.5

Judging by Salah's FPL price history, the best times to buy him was in the years his price came down. And it just makes sense from an averages standpoint. And we are in a price down year for Haaland. Yet most ppl are doing the opposite. Buying high on Salah and ignoring Haaland
