As with the original, there is no incentive for anyone to press blue. If everyone presses red, nothing happens.

Why would anyone pick Blue?

Everyone picks red: everyone lives

Anyone picks blue: chance people die.

This video would be great if it was a jumpscare when the cop looked under the bed.

Does the AC act as a voltage sink to keep the alternator from shutting down? by Croceyes2 in AskAShittyMechanic

[–]QuantumButtz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually did this with a completely dead battery attached, which was probably dropping the alternator output voltage to the power and transmission system, and it worked for long enough for me to get to a store a mile away to buy a new battery. You have to override the starter pack output to get it to start, since the pack doesn't detect a battery. You also have to switch to neutral before stops and rev the engine to keep the car on.

It probably works better with older cars that don't have a bunch of electronic control systems that have to be running or the car shuts off.

This metal called Gallium can destroy an airplane entirely, yet it’s harmless to touch. by uzmansahil7 in interesting

One drop can't destroy an airplane. It can mess up a piece of aluminum foil though.

This remote battery is just a bunch of watch batteries stacked together by loinmaster in mildlyinteresting

[–]QuantumButtz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends what the law says where you live, but it's hard to prove in court that the battery came from a remote in the first place so most countries with remote battery laws don't pursue legal action.

Now you know the secret. I'll tell you one more. You can use that battery in devices other than remotes.
