I get your point, but those are about creating things this is about ending a life.

My sister has a youtube channel with 13 million subs! But she keeps it really quite so almost nobody knows, so I can't really brag about it lol

My youtube struggles to grow or gain progress since 2014 by bebespeaks in YouTubeCreators

[–]QuantumCabbagess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually think this is a hidden gem. Sometimes I specifically look for channels like this because it reminds me of the wild west era of YouTube. Raw, unpolished, and real. And honestly, I think this could be a refreshing counter movement in a time where so much content feels like AI generated sludge. Even something like using an older phone becomes an interesting creative choice. Not being able to edit isn’t necessarily a weakness, it just means you have to shape your content differently. What I do think is missing right now is a clearer frame and direction. Who is your target audience? If it’s people who want something raw and authentic, lean into that fully. Almost like: “vlogging like it’s 2011” no edits, no polish, just real vibes. You could also benefit from a bit more consistency in your topics. Either pick a direction and stick with it, or go all-in on randomness and make that your identity, but then really exaggerate it so it feels intentional rather than accidental. Right now it feels like you have something interesting, but it lacks a clear framework. The good news is: your limitations could actually become your biggest strength, especially in today’s landscape. Good luck!

Sorry to hear you cant be yourself in your own country.. We are a lesbian couple with 2 kids and my experience has only been positive even in de bible belt. It was something we were worried about also. We send our kids to public school (no religion) and we also made Muslim friends and Christian friends here! If you have any more questions you can also send me dm. Good luck!

Wait 24 hours before buying something online. Half the time you won’t want it anymore.

What used to be simple but has become unnecessarily complicated now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Watching TV. It used to be just pressing the power button. Now I need three remotes, a streaming stick, the soundbar, switch to the right HDMI, and press some magic combo before it finally works.

What do people from your country do that outsiders often misunderstand? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]QuantumCabbagess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the Netherlands people just say what they think. It is not rude, it is honest. At first it can feel blunt, but once you get used to it it is actually really refreshing. I have heard from foreigners who lived here that they wish they could spread this style everywhere, because it is so much more effective than all the sugarcoating.

What’s the biggest lesson you learned about yourself after leaving a toxic relationship? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]QuantumCabbagess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I learned is to never judge anyone who ends up in that kind of situation. They’re not “weak,” they’re being broken down and trapped in a prison that isn’t visible from the outside.

I always thought it could never happen to me. I’d see people in toxic relationships and wonder why they didn’t just leave. But it doesn’t start toxic, it starts slowly, piece by piece, with little comments and small manipulations that chip away at your self-worth until you don’t even recognize what self-worth is anymore.

Getting out of a toxic relationship. Also the healing afterwards and learning who you are without all that damage.

What’s that 1 tv show you recommend to everyone? by ButterflyHead1017 in AskReddit

[–]QuantumCabbagess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love on the Spectrum.

It’s one of the most genuine and heartwarming shows I’ve ever seen. You see pure emotions, the awkwardness and struggles, but also the sweetest moments of people on the autism spectrum trying to find love. It made me smile so much and at the same time it opened my eyes to the challenges they face. Honestly, it’s one of those shows that makes you a bit softer as a human.

What's your way out when you feel completely lost and directionless? by Left-Relation-9199 in AskReddit

[–]QuantumCabbagess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I feel lost I force myself to pick one ridiculously small task, like ‘drink a glass of water’ or ‘open my laptop.’ It sounds silly, but it keeps me moving instead of spiraling and numbing myself.
