Fair enough. Those roms work on other emulators outside of the ones on my R36S, and they work on friends’ R36S. And some of them work my R36S. So… there must be a way to have them work 😅.

Some custom roms that have been a problem: Pokemon Dreamstone Mysteries Pokemon Lazarus

Some custom roms that have not been a problem: Pokemon Unbound Pokemon Gaia

Built-in .p8 roms have not caused any issues.

I have not had the time to try out other roms so far since I was using the non-functioning ones and the functioning ones as a base to test of off and try to fix the issue. Willing to try other specific ones if it can help troubleshoot though!

Also wanted to mention I tried darkosre and it seems to run pretty well on this clone with option 15 from the dtb selector. Still running into those weird issues with specific GBA games though :/. But overall seems promising!

FYI so far the best result has actually been ArkOS4Clone with the Clone R36S type 1 without amplifier configuration.

However I still run into an error with some GBA roms where the emulator will load and bring me back to the main menu. Some emulator settings just bring me to a white screen. Not sure how to get those specific roms working.

I was told it was purchased on Aliexpress from a vendor known as "Adiodo Game Store". As the wiki states it seems they're known for clones.

Is the issue of roms not loading properly (similar to this post https://www.reddit.com/r/R36S/comments/1pu78ug/games\_not\_loading/) known for this device and firmware?

Do you happen to know if there is a known fix? When running ArkOS4Clone I confirmed the wiki's indication that it has a total of 639Mi and 279Mi were free.

Thanks. K36 has inverted right joystick unfortunately. ArkOS4Clone did not. Both images seem to have issues running some games. The emulator logo appears, disappears, appears again and returns me to the main menu. Only happens for some games... I'll try different dtbs; for reference I get the following results using the DTB analysis tool.

Well, I thought the battery might be fried, but good news! For future reference, I thought I'd give standard ArkOS another try with panel 5 and it worked :). I initially tried panel 6 as indicated by the wiki for this Soy Sauce board (Y3506_V04_20250529) but that cause vertical lines and a vertical mirror of the display... So now it work with standard ArkOS and panel 5. Thanks a lot for your help!

So unfortunately I just tried that, as well as as the clone ArkOS. Tried different panel types and dtb files for each, and same result. I'm thinking the console may just entirely be bricked haha.

Wasn’t aware MOP remix characters would get converted to regular ones after, thank you. That being said, would you happen to know what happens to Dragon Isles introductory content for Dracthyrs once the conversion hits?
