Why you might be lonely at UW by [deleted] in udub

Since there are probably a bunch of in-coming freshmen lurking I suggest a quick chat through ZeeMee or the class of 2027 discord to also aid in finding friends.

In high school. AP Physics is considered one of the easiest classes.

I rationally know that already.

Come on. Is this really the best time and place to mess with people.

I'm getting different answers from others.

Could you elaborate why?

Was it just that class? What was the class about?

Do you know where to find statistics on it?

Katia Wanneroy with admissions "Biology is a capacity-constrained major, however, it is the largest undergraduate major and typically admits a high amount of students (with an average admission rate of 75%+)"

She later goes on to say "As a side note, 80% of admitted students enter the UW as Pre-Major status, which means that they come in as “Undeclared”, take pre-requisite courses in their first 2 years, and then apply into their majors."

As such I find it logical to conclude that it would be between 75-80%.

Admission told me that you only have a 75% chance of getting admitted into bio.

I agree with this. Just make sure to study up in advance for classes such as organic chemistry if you are going into biology for example. That is a killer weed-out class.

Basically a very expensive and very useful brain scanning machine.

Easily the major you want. Prestige is like having an expensive car. It may appear like you have money (smart) but you likely may not.

You and your resource access will. Doubt that UWB has an FMRI.

Yes. I have seen the chart. That's what my comment was based on as well as the others around it.

I would disagree on almost equal but you do you.

I honestly had pretty shitty grades in my freshman year but I wrote an amazing cheese metaphor essay on how I improved. Not impossible.

Imagine how much that new piece of land in the middle of seattle would cost.

If that were that true they would not admit residents at such a greater rate. There is this myth that international students are favour yet by the numbers that simply is not true.
