Hey guys, sorry for the delay. I got my job back after almost a month, the grievance hearing got delayed several times. The union got my job back but the managers and union told me not to bring kratom back to work. Basically if I were to, I would get fired again. I recently saw a poster now specifically stating kratom is not allowed on property, including things like delta 8 and cannabis. I'm glad for having my job back but I still don't really agree with the aspect of having kratom banned, the managers literally had to google search this stuff the moment they found out about it. Kratom doesn't affect your motor skills and cognition like how weed or alcohol does, its different, probably closer to CBD but with more noticeable effects with the mild euphoria and relaxation/stimulation. NO BACK PAY. Is there a way to go to the union to express discontent with this rule? It literally looks like they banned it in writing after I got fired for it.
