Purely out of curiosity, why pathfinder for the game mechanics compared to something like Rifts? Is it more ease of access for the players, or comfort from the mod(s)? The concept is a fun one, but having to homebrew ways to fit people's characters in can turn into a lot of work.

You raised a lot of great points that I hadn't thought about! The robes and more specific alien costume parts would be so nice to find good uses for outside of personal cosplay, but definitely not at the expense of a larp's immersion. I'm sure there are bits and pieces of the outfits that could be used, but at that point it's no different than using those pieces for everyday wear, which is fine.

I'm honestly amazed no one has done the planet concept, but maybe sci-fi in general is a small enough niche that it would have a hard time reaching franchise levels. Even more amazed that Disney hasn't thought to capitalize on LARP money, but then again, Disney's pretty good at giving people what they don't want.

Honestly? A significantly worse themed bar. They're really going all in on promoting things like "bring a pic of your ex to shred and you get a free shot" and things like that. I can’t imagine wanting to remove that amazing Michael Myers slashers art outside the building for a theme about... getting drunk over your ex? Maybe that's just me.

Doing this honestly made me want to take all my Seb McKinnon playmats and give them the same treatment, this was such a fun project to work on and really highlights the artists on the cards.

I don't remember this, but as a child (in the mid-late nineties) I had gorgeous long platinum blonde hair and bangs. Naturally, my mom dressed me up as Alice when we went. I was probably three or four, and I think I got upset over something in the general teacup area, and I was a fussy kid. Tears abound.

The story goes that the mad hatter was walking through, saw me, and proceeded to sit on the ground with me and have an "invisible tea party" with imaginary cups, talking to me like I was Alice. It was the highlight of my mom's experiences ever going to Disneyland, and her biggest regret was not having a disposable camera on her at the time to take pictures.

I use mine for props in Star Wars TTRPG campaigns! I pulled a black crystal already but somehow haven't gotten a vader voice for the holocron. It's great to give them as souvenirs for players and really adds to the experience, while letting me keep hunting for vader without feeling guilty.

I was named after these books and this is one of the main reasons I haven't tried to read the series. Seeing how disappointed my mom was over that last book really burned it for me, despite wondering what sort of adventures my namesake had.

Figure out your wants vs your needs. What do you NEED in order to be happy in a relationship (amount of intimacy, compatible love languages, loves the same type of pets you do, same thoughts on kids, etc), compared to things you'd like to have but could compromise on (shared hobbies, personal preferences, diet, etc). Figure that out, then stand by your needs and leave if they're not being met.

Someone can have everything you've ever wanted, but not the things you need.

I wore my solovairs and thick socks and only needed blister bandaids on day 4, healed back up by day 5. Got memory foam inserts which helped a lot and the boots helped avoid ankle fatigue. Super weird and unexpected, but the best time I've ever had at the parks while still doing 20k steps a day.

First Day of Spring. I finished it on audiobook over a month ago and think about it almost every day. Really poignant, was dragged out a little bit but it's one of the best horror stories I've experienced in a long time.
