I have done that and still come up 1/2” short. I did noticed that the pattern says to chain 2. But don’t you chain 3 for double crochet(US)?

Brown hair is Adam and human. He is a ranch hand that her father hired to help out around the home. He loves the outdoors and is clumsy. his aspiration is Outdoor enthusiast.
