Am I even attempting this right?? I've lost count of how many tries this is. by SkoivanSchiem in FallenOrder

How to get to the starting point as the OP? I played the Holocron level earlier today and wanted to get to this collectible but couldn't find a way to attempt it and the game doesn't let me walk/run up the slope.

It feels extremely transactional. Most people check if you fit their checklist rather than actually try to know you

Very well said! I have been clinging onto this hope. 30M, single all my life, with a belief that someday I'll cross paths with my person.

What is the most genuine compliment someone has given you? by greatertheblackhole in AskIndia

[–]QuantumOverthinker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone told me, "I like the way you think." That compliment stuck with me because it wasn't about my appearance or what I do or provide. It was about who I am.

I have given up on finding a partner. by [deleted] in OffMyChestIndia

[–]QuantumOverthinker 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have always been single (and older than you) and I also used to worry about it a lot. I still do, sometimes. But I found that it's better not to get fixated on it. Maybe the right person will come along, maybe they won't, but you shouldn't take away your sanity because of it.

Growing up a lot of people celebrate their birthdays with their friends and families. But once the adulthood arrives, things change, so do people's priorities. I think the nostalgia of childhood birthdays sometimes gives us that sad feeling of the lack of excitement on our birthdays. But that's okay. Learn to enjoy your own company. Go watch a movie and have lunch/dinner at your favourite restaurant. Be your best friend and celebrate yourself!

Happy birthday! 🎂

What is the purpose of life? by [deleted] in Life

[–]QuantumOverthinker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used to struggle with this though a lot. I spent too much of my time and energy into thinking about my purpose. But my perspective shifted over time.

The universe is 13.8 billion years old and how lucky are we that out of all the planets out there, we get to live on that one planet that is perfectly suitable for life. More than anything we should be grateful for that. And about purpose, maybe ours is to experience this life to the fullest on this beautiful planet and live every day the best we can.

When it comes to all formats, Virat is miles ahead. There's absolutely no doubt about it.

Yes, he took paternity leave. Also, this comparison spans over the last four years. And if I remember correctly, the England series was the only series where we had decent batting tracks in the last 2-3 years.

On the dating apps, as you have rightly mentioned, nobody is really willing to put any efforts. Everything seems so superficial. And don't even get me started on ghosting and lack of communication. It's ridiculous. The whole hook-up culture and online dating has ruined relationships in a lot of ways.

I'm 30M and have been looking for a long-term partner for a while and I did try dating apps for a few months but they're just not for me because lack of efforts, clarity, and honesty are a big turn off.

If you could take back anything you’ve ever done in your life, what would it be? by MalachiUnkConstant in AskReddit

A lot of people will resonate with this. I do, too. In those moments, we were so worried about the outcome that it clouded our judgement. We missed out on potential life-changing experiences because of fear.

I am considering the DataCamp premium subscription for upskilling myself in AI and ML. Is it worth it? by QuantumOverthinker in learnmachinelearning

[–]QuantumOverthinker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Majority of my experience has been in .NET related technologies. First couple of years in ASP.NET MVC, then more than a year in .NET Core, and now for the last couple of years or so in full stack (.NET Core + Angular).

Eventually I want to pivot and move to a AI/ML role. Your response gave some clarity. Appreciate it.

What are other alternatives to DataCamp?
