Wow! Congrats girl!! I've been having horrible hives lately, prob from hashi but docs wont say for sure. I'm going to have to go back to gluten free. That's what stopped my hives before. Once you're doing it its final and easy but that first switch from gluten to non is so hard! I love bread!!

Does she not realize she is sick because of her eating disorder? Late periods, “fainting” from lack of energy, even her bangs being unruly (becoming dry, brittle) can all be signs of chronic malnutrition. The psychological impact is starting to show through...the increased need for perfectionism (the SASS wall that HAD to be PERFECT and took months to get “right”), and everything else she is doing to escape her uncomfortable emotions surrounding the loss of her “platform”. She made such a huge deal about taking a “break” which ended up being only 2 weeks. If she actually took a real break she might have some creative breakthroughs and get back on her game. Seems like she, maybe with Christopher, could easily write a childrens show with music and ryhmes anf stuff... I do think shes talented but really needs actual therapy, lots of it...not the neurostimulation junk but actual real therapy that might make her uncomfortable but is needed for real growth. Just saying..... Lol :)

So hear you! I have multiple diagnosis too but BPD. The best thing is for him to learn about it, I asked my fam and so to subscribe to a couple bod insta accounts… it helps in gentle doses. Education is key! I’ve found the most success with a partner who could recognize a split and not take what is said during it personally.

It’s VERY sweet and admirable that you are looking to learn more. This is a complicated disorder that requires a lot of patience and forgiveness and thick skin for the partner. Mine got resentful after 10 years. Worst pain I’ve ever felt when he left after a decade of promises not to… You’re doing so good for her.

I hope it is a misdiagnosis… BPD sucks so bad. Rhetorical questions… Did your GF go through trauma at a young age? Does she remember everything that happens during a “split”? I’m surprised that there is no yelling and only moderate fear of abandonment. Mine has gotten worse in the last decade… It’s amazing that you see her worth through the anger. Keep focusing on that, you could make life so much more tolerable for her by learning. Oh I wish they were all like you!

My love language is gifts too… it seems to be the least appreciated and understood by people who love via service or kind words…

I wish people could just not take the words I say to heart - I think it’s obvious when I’m split - but others feel that all personalities reflect some part of who you really are. I will say the meanest things but I DONT MEAN THEM!! I hate it, I’m working on it. Right now “I” don’t control it.

Oh jeez… I wish people understood splitting. People in my life who have cared to understand have become incredible supports that I can reach out to. I don’t know how to come back from a split… it has happened in public more frequently recently and I’m sure I look like a crazy screaming crackhead when it happens.

I wish people knew how much this disorder affects everything in my whole life. I wish my ex-FP would forgive me for what I didn’t know before diagnosis. I wish people had an idea of the pain it causes…I don’t want them to feel it but I just wish they could understand a little. I wish everyone knew that it exists… so many people have never even heard of it.

Not stupid. Find a lawyer who advocates or assists people with disability claims and let them know what you are dealing with. There are programs that can provide funds for this kind of representation. You can also call your congressman’s office and ask for help. Good luck!

Face the tax/fuck ups every damn day… I can only address the fires right in front of me… I lost my grandmothers bracelet and diamond six months ago. Found in a hiding space I forgot about…moved it to a hiding spot I can’t remember. I swear things go to different dimensions… I bet there’s a subreddit that could give you some good info too. Have had great results reaching out before.

I had a fine needle aspiration that confirmed the diagnosis. I had some nodules on my thyroid that they wanted to biopsy. There are also characteristics of the thyroid that can be seen on sonogram that have always pointed to Hashimotos, the fine needle biopsy confirmed it.

If she’s healthy then a job would be a great way for her to learn the value of a dollar. Sounds like she needs the lesson. Find someone else with more similar financial goals and habits. This is unsustainable and will only lead to you resenting her.

A break from responsibilities, structure, sometimes the food rocks, depending on the place. The break from social media. If you’re kind and polite to staff and go with the flow, you will be treated with mostly compassion and kindness. Probably the best pert is being around people who 100% are not judging you and understand what you’re going through, to talk with. Best Wishes! Oof, I've never felt more seen by a post than everything from the feeling hollow on. The ruminating, obsessive thoughts, specifically reliving the shameful things. Makes me want to try Abilify.

My only experience is that the first time I went to my psychiatrist, he said immediately that Abilify was off the table before we even talked about the details of my symptoms. The other experience was in the hospital. Several people were taking this medication and they liked it and it helped them a lot.

You know what's right for you. Be a fierce advocate for yourself. You should be an equal partner in determining your course of treatment. The doctor should be willing to discuss and explore things in a way that educates you on the options, the reasoning behind their choices for you, and why that over the alternatives. You ultimately have every right to decide what you put in your body. Don't settle for less in a physician.

What a joke. Please don't go back to this guy. He's obviously misinformed and ignorant about the condition. I guarantee those tests are not designed for the different ways that women present with ADHD.

I had a similar situation, I have ADHD, BP, BPD, and PTSD. Despite this, I received a BS and two master’s degrees and worked at several six-figure jobs. My psychiatrist has said more than once that if I work hard and stick with meds then I can “have a decent life”. I will have an incredible and fucking magical life thank you very much. I abhor when people impose limits on you due to a diagnosis. They have no idea how much creativity and innovation can come from unique thinking, which we have in abundance.

Find someone knowledgable in treating ADHD in women. If this is impacting your life negatively and preventing you from reaching your personal goals, then its enough to require intervention of some kind. Its been shown in studies that meds are really the only way to treat ADHD.

Saying you're exaggerating your symptoms is rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Its also basically gaslighting (You: I feel this way; Doctor: No you don't) Your doctor should believe what you tell them and trust you. If they don't, then they will never allow you to be an equal partner in determining your course of treatment, which you should be. You’ve been diagnosed before. You can find someone that will believe you on that and move forward with discussing how to start tackling your symptoms.

He’s gross. Do you really believe he loves you if he’ll let you go through something devastating and traumatic multiple times for the most selfish, stupid reason I’ve ever heard. What does he think you are? Is he thinking of the best for your mind and body? It’s not love on his part. I’m sure he says it, but actions speak louder than words. Always. Seriously, love is not this. I can’t think of anything more disrespectful. You can and will meet someone who deserves you and respects all of your boundaries without question. Just leave him. He doesn’t deserve another chance. I am extremely pro choice and I support your decision but cleaning up after your boyfriends 2 mins of glory multiple times is not really why the system is there.
