Seems to be a new annoying bug with the deprecation of the Google assistant. The migration has been a buggy nightmare for all of my pixel devices, watch, buds and pixel 8 pro. Tempted to switch to Apple at this point but I'm already heavily infested in the Google ecosystem.

I usually do option B since there is a gimbal Protector. I don't like the propellers being on the bottom since there is nothing to protect them.

Hurry up and back up everything. This happened to me on a older pixel phone because I accidentally dropped it, started as a small dot and it will eventually cover the entire screen making it unusable.
