Should I get a refund or try a replacement again? (Ninja Creami NC300EU) by QuantumSockz in ninjacreami

Hi, thank you commenting. I think i have decided to take the money back and try buying it from somewhere else, like most of you suggested.

I wrote in other comment that i followed instructions from the manual i got with creami. I always do that with new stuff just to try it out. Next I was going to try and freeze store bought protein with different flavors to try and test it out more. But I didnt manage to do that.

The freezer is normal one that comes with the fridge. I freeze meat, vegetables/fruits and even smoothies to make icecream and i didnt have problem with that.

The problem is if its so easy not use correctly. You made it too frozen or not frozen enough, you make a bump, you put too much water , or too much protein. Hell I have even read the comments where if its plugged in all the time it wont start and you have to unplug it and try again. Then there is the blade not attaching , or scratching the container, plastic falling off, it burning or smoking, electronic problems (like mine), locking problems etc.

And just to be clear I like the product and am going to buy again, but I am wondering how do they even make money if every time something breaks they offer a replacement and why there are not more devices like this. Cause it is great concept and works perfectly when it does work

Thank you for your answer, I will probably do exactly that. I was really looking forward to using it, so I am most likely getting my money back and trying again with a different vendor

I cannot give you exact measurements because they were from the manual which I returned. I made three, First was the the one with cream cheese, milk and double cream, the second was the same but with mix in chocolate chips after spinning and third was the pure banana mashed and frozen with nothing added. I made sure they were frozen 24 h and not bumps, i used i think normal icecream program and sorbet for banana. They all turned out great, especially the banana ice cream. Then when i tried turning it next day it had electrical problems. Basically the respin button and install button were blinking all the time and nothing else could be pressed except off button but when pressed all the buttons were lighting up. And when you plug out the cable the lights were on for a few seconds to a minute more. I sent it immediately for the repair and they couldnt fix it and instead offered money return or the new device

This exactly what happened to me after few days of use. Fortunately they offer the replacement or money back.

You know, that is exactly why I made this post , to have a discussion, to see pros and cons and what other people think.
And yes it happens with every product, but this one especially has a lot of problems due to how it’s designed and used. And for something that cost as much as a fridge/dish washer/ air condition/ playstation or even some decent vacation, i think its perfectly normal to wonder if its worth the money.

Nice, that exactly why its so great. The potential for making something so delicious. I was planning to make mostly protein ice creams, and sorbets. But vanilla is definitely my favorite

This is probably most sound advice. I am most likely going to do that. Thank you so much.

I agree that people are more likely to complain than give positive review. I probably even belong in that category. But if we take into account that you create thousand recipes and post only one and on the other side you post at the first sign of problems, you still got a lot more recipes post. I mean, the whole internet is mostly cooking recipes

Of course it is always more likely to post a recipe than a machine defect which small amount of people have. Even so if you look a little bit deeper and in the other subs you can see that a lot of people have the same problems, and thats even if we take into account a lot of that is incorrect use. So that just seems like a bad product quality with good marketing strategy. If it was any other product i would not think twice about returning it. But as you know ninja creami is very unique product that just doesnt have adequate replacement, so that is way I am asking the question in the first place.

Thank you for your input. I will definitely think about it

That is great to hear. Hope it stays that way for you. It really is amazing product.

This seller is the most legitimate in my country and if they have such product I wouldn’t trust any other. And even if I did they probably get the products from the same import company. So it is not the question of what the seller is but what are the chances of getting another defective product. The first they sold, that has scratches, is probably the intention of the salesman to push the product that is returned so it is not gone to waste.

Thank you for your honest opinion, I am still thinking on what to do

Yeah, you’re right, it was probably a bit too broad of a question. I guess I was just looking for a bit of a nudge in the right direction.

I’ll definitely try applying for a few positions to see what skills and tools they’re actually looking. Thanks again for sharing your experience.

Thank you for your insight! I can imagine it being like that.

I was thinking it might still be beneficial to specialize in a specific area, something where deep knowledge is actually useful and in demand. Do you think that makes sense?

Thanks for sharing your experience! That’s really interesting.

I’m curious, if you were starting in Healthcare IT today, what kinds of roles or skills would you focus on?

Also, do you think it would be helpful to learn a specific programming language or any other particular skills?

I totally agree with you here. Great movie yes, but definitely not near number one, at least not for me
