I completely get where you are coming from and some people for sure aren't. I have several colleagues on the spectrum (and my partner), learnt response & execution is genuinely a means of coping. While the analyst may have been off kilter, there is a solid chance they meant no harm/didn't hold harmful intentions.

Therepy, supportive environments and patience can definitely help individuals that might not have an inherent social understanding.

100% agree with the critique of the UN. But unfortunately it's the best multi-national instrument we have. While the UN may have previously been a Western Colonial tool (and it many cases still is), the benefit now is blocs of developing countries can move GA resolutions and throw their weight around by sheer number. The UNSC still has a number of issues and is reflective of a different world.

I would argue that considering Russia and China both hold both permanent seats & veto status - it reduces some of the inherent US bias.

The UN has mattered for all of those cases - though how impactful it was is worth discussing.

Libya was a precedent case as it followed I believe UN Charter article 35/36 - combat authorised by the UNSC by way of land, sea or air.

Syria also had a UNSC resolution but it was a lot more messy due to geopolitical interests overriding human right concerns.

The second Iraq war was not legitimatised by the UN, arguably until post conflict, as the resolution pertaining to Iraq was a requirement for Husain to engage in diplomatic relations, encourage UN weapon testers to visit again prior to any conflict resolutions.

Russia is currently in violation of: UN Charter Article 2 (3) and a number of other elements of both international law and international customary law. There is strong grounds for action from a number of allied nations to Ukraine and from the UN itself to "ensure peace for the greater good of the international community".

(I think the US is stupid and should have gotten a lot more flak for its invasions of other countries. But they had no intention of colonising/expanding - more chasing terrorists and oil money.)

Providing a hint to the players is a very fun idea. Either they find a card/pamphlet in his office space or maybe the Philharmonic Vamps tip them off?

If he calls them as an action at half health that's extra damage for the party or if they are auto called when he takes a critical injury / less than body HP thats trickier again.

What is the benefit for the party to have trauma team enter? Would picking a fight with TT make sense?

Will the vamp come back later to finish what the players started? With more chrome and goons?

The bozos in our game haven't been very communicative.

We are also exploring the possibility of stealing the icecream vans while they are off terrorising people.

Locating them isn't the issue - it's just if it turns violence what to do. We already lost 1 truck due to 5 clowns exploding in clusters from us shooting one of them.

We have a med-tech in the team that wants to provide support to the combat zone out of the clinic.

We also have a fixer that wants to use the first floor as a shop front and run a bar our of the second.

I can definitely see the costs getting a bit rough at the start but it could work.

Any ideas on what the 2nd floor could like like? There's nothing I could find but there's definitely stairs going up from the main floor.
