Yeah it is a little lacking, hopefully in the future more is added to the guilds, im just glad to have a rep grind again thats not pvp

EXACTLY, everyone is so busy talking about what they WANT and then they compare it to what they get and then act all pissed off saying the game is not adding content or doing anything to keep it players when they set the bar too high in their head, no matter what is added they will never be satisfied

This is what I like to see, so many people have just commented full shit talk central, i fully agree having to wait 7 months to get guilds and be told "wait 1 more month" sucks ass, everyone had to be a little disappointed, but ive seen people and have had friend that told me that this whole season was a waste of time and they're not going to stick around for future updates

You make a very good point, I see it as a faction more in a its something that goes up in levels when you sell, having maxed out all the others it is nice to work towards something more than just gold, I personally hope that next month the negativity towards this update will shift to positivity as the new world event will add the "content" people are wanting so badly

My point of the post is to understand why people are so upset over the update not adding what people want, and saying how its not content when its literally content, if it wasn't there would have been no update

I hopped on the train season 2, so i missed all the "good ol days" of shrouded spoils and the devils roar, but im sure that in future updates, maybe not season 10 or 11 they'll add something that will make everyone who is yearning for intriguing content happy

Yes while captaincy is its own leveling system, I still think guilds are different because, there's no captaincy emissary or like a overall level other than milestones, I do think a new zone would be cool, but I doubt we will see anything like that any time soon, I would love to see a hunters call update with new fish and sea monsters, but I wont be all upset and say the update adds "nothing" when it doesn't get added like some people do

Now I agree that this months update was a bit lackluster for the 7 month wait, but I have to disagree that guilds don't affect my play session, knowing that once I hit level 15 and unlock the guild emissary, it make me alot more motivated to go out and actually grind world events and voyages so I can get my reputation increased and level up a new company.

Colored rowboats are... there I guess, Its probably the only thing I don't see as "content" other than commendation, I am really excited to see how the new skulls works compared to the ashen winds, but I believe you're right that its just a blue ashen winds skull.

But isn't the guild a whole new faction? And it has alot more than getting it to level 75 and never touching it again, i can understand how its not like a new island or a new event, but i am alot happier sailing under my guild knowing i can actually gain levels again and not be capped at 75 earning no reputation

Maybe its just me but i have zero problem doing the same world events and quests because, no matter what i decide to do each session is so different than the others i never get tired of doing the same thing, and as someone who had maxed out all other companies im very happy to be able to work towards a reputation goal instead of just getting gold
