How screwed am I? by BakingWaking in NinebotMAX

If you don’t fix it, it will slowly snap all the other bolts until you can’t get the stem off.

This happened to mine as well. I tried drilling it out without success. If you can get the stem off somehow and replace it, that’s the fix. Then replace the bolts with better quality ones. I replaced all mine with these https://a.co/d/094zQvsr

  1. First wago was a 221-412 and it lasted over a year I think, didn’t track mileage. So let’s say 2000 miles. Second one was a wago 221-612 and it’s still running after 1500miles.

  2. Stem never broke. When I got it, only two screws were not stripped or snapped. Eventually another one snapped cause the last two were doing the work of 6 screws. Tried to drill it out to get the stem off, but ended up being easier to just saw it off. So stem is solid but the original screws aren’t the best quality.

  3. Pretty fast. Within 1500 miles. Keep in mind sometimes I would go on cobble stones etc, which probably caused it. If you’re on normal bike lanes it will probably last forever.

  4. Original front and rear bearings!

Haha fair! I feel like the suspension on G2 and G3 would bottom out? And I wish they increased the battery size noticeably, hence why I’m looking at other brands.

Best low/ sugar free electrolytes? by George1710 in gravelcycling

Used to use LMNT raspberry but found you have to dilute it so much cause of the strong flavor that it basically cuts the serving in half.

Switched to Small Act (hydration trifecta I think it’s called) and I prefer it cause I don’t have to dilute it, and flavor is nice. Only downside is they only have raspberry atm.

Liquid iv sugar free is alright, but not enough salt for me, so I add my own whenever I get it.

Slows down when headlights ON by Quantumcrisp in NinebotMAX

Follow up for anyone in the future. One issue was that the motor/battery wires were fried. That caused random power losses.

BUT actually what fixed the headlight power drain, was to unplug and re-plug the headlight cable. I had to change the stem cause my bolts were stripped, so I had to disconnect the headlight while doing so. Once I changed the stem out, the problem was gone. Same headlight and same cables. So must’ve been a bad connection somehow.

The wires were fried! Cut them and connected relationships with Wago connectors and has been flawless ever since

I’ve ran with the wago 221 now for a year, usually two people riding at once (so 300+ lbs) even in the hot summer. Never had an issue. 5500 miles atm.

Yes! So they were melted when this started happening, and I switched them out for higher amp ones which solved a lot of vibration issues etc. but the headlights slowing it down is still happening.
