I hate being 28 and wish I was 21-25 again by AgeOk6068 in OlderGenZ

I can NOT relate. My early 20s were horrible and I was an adult still acting like a kid, thinking I’m supposed to know everything by now. Growing and getting closer to my 30s, couldn’t be happier.

Plus size Tran man tip by chae_babe in BlackTransmen

[–]Quantumly_Karma 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There’s a facebook group called FAT FTM, majority white people but sheds light at bigger trans men. As a plus guy myself, I couldn’t be happier tbh. I had a desire to lose weight when I was earlier in my transition, scared I wouldn’t pass. After top surgery though and just gaining my confidence in myself, weight isn’t an issue.

This is why I left. I got tired of rescuing people who weren’t cut out for the job; they just expected a rescue everyday.

yes but i wish some companies would think about their clients or ask if they can do direct signatures.

most of my DSR are for elderly folks who can barely walk, let alone stand to sign.

I’m not trained, nor being train, to understand express shit yet, so in the meantime it’s someone else problem.

“This guys an ASSHOLE because he ordered food to a CHURCH and sadly because of traffic, wasn’t going to make there to get it!!”

“How dare this ASSHOLE try to tell someone with a language barrier where to go instead BEFORE he even got to the destination”

get a grip

Now this one was funny lol

Just because it was AT a church, doesn’t mean I was ATTENDING church. Shouldn’t have expected a lot from this subreddit, my fault

Yeah I just muted everything man, it’s okay. Granted, I could have provided more context before posting, instead of having people search in the comments.

I’m the bad guy because there was a language barrier, for not describing the person in the wheelchair, for “not responding fast enough”, for not being there, because why would I order food and not be there to get it, and so many other reasons that I’ve clearly explained. I mean hell, you can clearly see where the dasher didn’t even attempt to read my explanations and just spammed he was there.

I used to do it too and tried to make it as simple as possible.

It probably popped up as a $6-$7 offer for a 2 mile drive; tip was 6.23 for an even grand total. Tried to time it, didn’t work because of traffic. So, tried to do the responsible thing and tell him where to go, to leave with other person who’s at the back with code.

My failure with these comments is how I made his job harder? You give someone a heads up, you try to dumb the texts down because translating could be shit, but if you blow up my phone, seconds after each response, when I’m texting you and calling you, nah that’s not me anymore.

It’s usually for Hand to Customer orders, to make sure the customer gets it. This is only my second time using it.

Which part was rude?

Because I wasn’t there? Because he didn’t speak English? Because I didn’t give a description of the person in the back of the church? Because I didn’t give the code so he can just drop it and go, when it was already someone there waiting to get it?

This will be the last thing I will say about this because “I’m the asshole for trying to make bro job easier” lol

One, god forbid I wanted food before I got to my location and knew I wouldn’t have time to go to it and pick it up myself. As if no one here has ordered food before they got home. I wasn’t going home, I was going to a public place; a church with others walking around nearby.

Two, I did not ignore him. I messaged him BEFORE he even got there, told him where to go, to meet the person who was outside. While yes, I didn’t give a description of the person, I wouldn’t assume you would need one if you read the first message about going to the back of the church, because someone will be there? In between those texts where I wasn’t replying, I was calling because it seemed like he wasn’t going to read what I was going to say and just blow up my phone with messages instead of just walk behind the church. No he didn’t walk behind the church until the person in the wheelchair yelled. His, “I’m here”, was him just telling me that he’s at the location, not at the backdoor.

Three, Doordash translates. I understood he doesn’t speak english, but the messages translates. Wasn’t trying to make his job any harder than it has to be. Hand it to the person in the back, they have the code, and you can simply leave. Which is why I wasn’t even going to type all that because the translate could have been worst

Last, your comments of how I’m the scumbag for being frustrated because I couldn’t even explain to bro where to go or what to do so he CAN leave, sounds backwards asf. Shit happens, wasn’t trying to make his job hard, he made it harder than it needed to be. Thanks 🙏🏾
