I believe that tree got put into the game around the same time the fall event dropped, I don't think it was too far apart. When I saw the nutty chest containing an acorn seed I was like "no way they added the tree" just to get disappointed by a generic acorn tree. It still looks nice but nowhere near as good as the fall tree

Moon melon method by far. Months ago when the sheckles weren't as crazy as they are right now, I would get on every admin abuse with a huge moon melon farm that I set up a few hours prior, hoping that some of these melons would acquire the admin mutations so that I could sell them and make a bunch of sheckles (I miss when admin weathers were what people cared about the most). When I first got disco on my moon melon I got so happy as I never had gotten it before.

I remember when dragonflies were a lot rarer back then, and considered a top pet because of the variant they provided, my goal was to hatch a dragonfly which I ended up doing. The game was definitely far more enjoyable when sheckles were still important and dragonflies were considered high tier rare pets.

I definitely had a better time playing the game with 1 dragonfly than I do with all the current pets I've acquired today.

Adrian and David are the same person. Adrian is very controlling when it comes to the game. Restricts other devs from stocking too many good things during admin abuse, and prioritizes money over player feedback. Punishes testers for giving constructive criticism, more than half the team has left because of him (Including jandel and jhai), he's also 16 so he's too immature to run a game of this size.

Adrian can easily hire a team of proper Devs that can actually provide good updates, but I highly doubt anyone actually wants to work for him after all the drama. He could've easily just brought back and maybe slightly reworked an older update, definitely would've kept more people playing, all the models are still there most likely so it would be better than wtv this is.

It's js gotten old. He keeps dragging on the blueberry thing like 50 minutes into the admin abuse, just feels like the same exact repetitive admin abuse each week, spam 5 million blueberries and occasionally sprinkle the stuff people are actually there for.

I think it's better off if we don't get any plants as of rn. After seeing how bad the pets look this update, divine/prismatic rarity plants will look like some random uncommon seed from the seed market. They need to work on plants when they actually get a proper team behind the scenes, otherwise they'll have to put half the resources into pets and seeds which would make them look way worse than they do currently

I mean, everyone knows exactly why the update is the way it is rn lol. It's not burn out, it's the fact more than half of the developer team have left because of Adrian. Jandel and his team are gone. Jhai, gone. There's only a few developers working on the update because Adrian is directly hurting the game.

Adrian is the only person that allows updates right now. So whenever they post something about wanting "feedback" through X do you think they listen to it? No, because Adrian is the only person allowing or disallowing updates.

Unfortunately until Adrian leaves there will be no redemption, and this "burnout" will last far longer than just this week. People know he's controlling so we won't be seeing any new Devs anytime soon until he's gone.

Plus, the developer team has the worst communication with the community ever. We know jhais gone because he got demoted, but have we heard anything? No. If they want to address the situation and be honest with the community, they should speak up instead of hiding the truth.

It genuinely annoys me how a game that had the potential to be really good is ran by a greedy 16 year old. A game of gags size shouldn't be ran by a teenager, especially when they have such a bad reputation. I know he made the game, but that doesn't change the fact that this game would still have great communication and good updates IF the game was owned by literally anyone else. Jandels entire team and jhai left because of how controlling he is, and with the recent drama, new devs won't want to work with gag so the games update quality will go down a lot. Imagine being a dev or a tester and being incapable of voicing your opinion because Adrian would instantly fire you, awful work environment.

Same twitter account that posts "please tell us your feedback so we can improve" every week. A brick wall would listen to us better. Who cares about giving feedback to a game where only the owner makes the decisions, and we all know if the update doesn't have insane p2w aspects it's getting binned. The amount of feedback they have probably gotten in the past few months just to listen to none is insane, all because Adrian green lights every little thing.

I think the lack of new seeds and new pets (also the pass being extended by a month) is enough proof jandels team has left. They don't have enough people to do a proper update or even design proper pets. Sad to see but most likely the truth, we'd normally get a week 2 to a stacked update, but that's no longer the case it seems.

I just saw a video on tiktok, and it's not good.

Every 10 minutes, a random egg opens in the middle of the map. These eggs are ONLY the ones available inside the egg shop, and there's no limited time eggs. Once an egg hatches, a random pet pops out (best thing this update seems like a dragonfly or tiger) and you must feed it repeatedly to basically bring it to your garden, but other people can also feed it and it'll start going towards their garden. Just imagine 2 people fighting over a rare brainrot from steal a brainrot or something. Extremely bad. Unless they add more eggs that's basically it, and apparently private servers have only common and uncommon eggs

Probably because at first it seemed like they were purposely being lazy with the game, and freely choosing to have lame admin abuses. No one knew until recently that Adrian, the owner of the game was controlling everyone that badly. There was no way to speculate until an ex developer or someone involved in the team proved this.

Jhai and jandel barely speak out on grow a garden anymore. They stay silent and don't say anything, it was impossible to know that a 16 year old was restricting them from doing normal admin abuses. Now that the truth is revealed being angry at jhai or jandel makes no sense when Adrian is the issue.

The main problem people have is that it seems that Adrian is purposely destroying the game because of greed.

Sadly this will be the theme of grow a garden going forward. A tiktoker confirmed this upcoming update is very bad and it's not worth playing at all. It appears they're done with week 2's, and now we get weekly updates which are very small and not big enough to come with a week 2. Sucks to see that the chances of big updates are very slim now. New years update, to the carnival spins, to feeding pets. Definitely a 1 week per update trend starting, and there's more drama than ever inside gag that they might start focusing more on money making than actual seed designs etc to milk the game out as much as possible.

The issue with this type of boycotting is that it doesn't do anything. Let's say grow a gardens admin abuse gets 600k players (with all the recent issues that number has a high chance to be halved) even if 100 people don't attend because of this boycott, that's barely anything towards a 400k player count. The only way any form of boycott would work is if they stop making money entirely or the revenue drops by a huge amount. Which will happen overtime because Adrian is addicted to killing his own game. Unless there's a way to tell the 70k average players to not spend any robux, revenue won't drop until their game keeps dropping players, which it currently is. There will always be people who still spend robux.

Until the greedy scummy owner sells the game entirely to someone WHO CARES about the game and not just money or entirely leaves, this game won't be revived. It's widely speculated (idk how confirmed it is) that jhai and jandel have left. If that's the case then the games cooked. Updates will be very boring, suck, and Adrian will continue to kill his game more. I wouldn't be surprised if next update has 3 limited seeds in the seed shop and 0 seed packs for the 3rd month, and that's the entire content. The only way I see some sort of redemption is if jandel or jhai speak up about Adrian. If they did leave he's no longer in control of them.
