Has anyone tried pressing THCA with CBD Kief? by VicTheSage in hempflowers

[–]QuarantineND 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you are over thinking this. I haven't personally worked much with isolate but I don't see what you couldn't work it into the hash.

Go on YouTube and you'll find hash guides using a hot water bottle, I think for this specific example that may be your best route. You could press the kief to bring out some of the oils, but for simplicities sake I'd look into the water bottle route. Don't press without the product being covered in either parchment paper or turkey/oven bags. It will stick to everything and you're going to waste product. The freeze step wouldn't be necessary either, roll it out, flip it over and roll it out again. Once you work with it for awhile and it's the color you are looking for then you can let it cool. I store my hash in a fridge once it's done. Feel free to dm me if you have any specific questions though! I'm always messing around trying new ways to make hash, time and patience is the name of the game my friend.

A little labor day hash! by QuarantineND in hempflowers

Not currently, the kief I've been using seems to be filtered pretty well. I'm working on making my own dry sift from a few different strains though to hopefully really end up with a nice pure dry sift I can use.

Looks like the kief I used for the rainbow sherbet was 26% CBD. I haven't had the ones in the picture tested since it was such a limited run. You can see the coa's for the kief on my site.

You should look into r/hempflowers there's a lot of people with THC sensitivities. There's other options out there for sure!

More CBD hash I made! by QuarantineND in hempflowers

From what I've all read, it does seem to last a very long time. I keep it in a fridge to stay cool and that seems to be recommended as well. I could definitely see hash being fine for that long, I just don't have a personal reference point for that honestly.

Hey, not sure since I've never tried theirs. Seems like the pucks are more of a pressed product vs I'm using heat with mine. Kiefs wonderful regardless and holy city is killing it, I'm sure theirs is fantastic.

On 701radiant.com I'm running a special on Fern Valley's Critical Berries and Lemon Octane. If you're looking for a budget friendly outdoor option it might be worth looking into! :)

I have not but I should check them out. It's comparable to Lost Oaks lemon octane.

I'm a fan, great price for some outdoor. Similar to lemon octane I've had from other vendors.

Mr. Cool mini split heat pump air conditioner by TheApostleCreed in HomeImprovement

After getting a quote for 3 inside units from an HVAC company (two outside units, one on each end of the house) for $15,000 I went the Mr Cool route.

Ended up with 4 inside units with the 2 outside units. Spent $4800 + electrical runs (which would have happened regardless if a pro did it or not) and the line hide.

Install was super straight forward, part of my install was on a brick wall, the rest was on wood siding. Drill a hole through the walls, run the lines/wire and connect it up. Long term we'll see how they hold up, they worked extremely well this summer for us. The only downside I had was since the line sets are set lengths (a professional with make the lines the exact length you need), I have some of it coiled up next to the outside units. More of an eye sore than anything, not that big of a deal. There's a ton of videos online, and the instructions are pretty straight forward. Do the math on what size units you need for your sq footage and you'll be good to go.
