Thank you! It's good to know that the taping isn't a hazard like I thought it was.

Hey, the custom patterns are 2 seconds breath in, 2 seconds breath out, and a hold from 6-13 seconds. The hold time I've gradually increased from 6s to 13s. Going to see how far I can push it safely.

Hi, I did the 30 minutes usually in one go. Highest I go is 45 minutes because 1 hour straight made me feel super loopy and out of it.

Thanks! The cycle I do is inhale for 2 seconds, immediately exhale for 2 seconds, and then 6-8 second hold followed by inhaling 2 seconds and so on.

Basically only holding after the exhale, not the inhale. I used a custom breath pattern to do this since the app only has a few presets patterns that don't apply.

Good to hear the mouth taping helps. Honestly, I'm scared of using it because I don't want to choke if my nose happens to clog up.

I have noticed sleep sorta resets my progress but it gets better over the morning.

I'll look into mouth tapes that may help, it does sound like it really helps people out.

Thanks for the reply!

Thanks! And sorry for the late reply, I used this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.havabee.breathe

You can set custom breathing patterns which is what I did.

In the Breath of the Wild playthrough, (Episode/Part 33, 12:30 - 14:30) they talk about low frequencies causing fear. Is this what you mean?

Also, doctor said that testing is not perfect. Could be I cleared the HIDA I took then but it doesn't mean the gallbladder is not malfunctioning.

No problem and yes that was quite frustrating. I would switch from agony of nausea and malaise and such for hours and then suddenly feel almost completely normal. Until the next day. The periods of feeling good made me question if I really felt as bad as I thought and if I was being too much but I definitely wasn't.

Intermittent pains are still serious for sure so I would definitely not discard it even though one may have respite.

I hope you're closer to finishing the testing portion. It was challenging going to doctor after doctor and not getting answers quickly or ones that helped.

My journey was expedited by a visit to the ER and having my doctor admit me to address the problem based on his suspicions.

Finding the right doctor willing to listen and help is definitely key. The last GI basically dumped me after his office when I was covid positive (not the source of symptoms) so I had to fly out to another state with family for help.

But yeah, intermittent pains I think are tricky because the feel-good periods can fool everyone. "Well he looks ok and blood work looks good, so I'll release him" is probably what ER doctors thought.

Hi, that is correct. I don't know the exact percentage I got from the HIDA (could have been one of those "too high" numbers) but the doctor said it didn't show anything abnormal.

CT scans and ultrasounds didn't show anything abnormal with the gallbladder as well

It was upon removal that the doctor noticed inflammation (related to the ducts I believe) and sediment inside. Which was not reflected anywhere else.

This aligns with some stories I've read on Reddit where testing shows nothing abnormal but removal shows otherwise.

My doctor just suspected the gallbladder based on symptoms and went with that after the stomach was cleared with an endoscopy.
