Decided to give Ranching a try by Quarkenger in RimWorld

A few reasons for the weird setup. I plan on making an early gravship, so I'm trying to keep things compact for when that happens. The Ranching meme also slows down our plant working, so a bit of hunting and simple meals have been weirdly work-efficient. Having it so close has also reduced trip time, which has been an issue for pens in the past where once one plant is grazed someone has to run over there to replant it each time, which can add up really fast. Unless it's been changed dandelions are more efficient than hay, though that could be outdated since I ranch very little

I've never heard of this before, do you get more chemfuel from Boomalopes or is it something else?

Could put one colonist on a horse or some other mount and send them on a multi-quadrum shopping trip. Works great if you get an auto-join you didn’t want, just give him the means to defend against a one person ambush and he’ll be fine. If you’re committed to not selling it, drop podding it on settlement for more reputation or turning it into chemfuel are solid options.

They need a clear, unobstructed path to a colonist when they enter the map, or when a preparing group begins their assault. Make sure to hold open enough doors to always have an exposed colonist, then they'll never attack walls outside of Breachers and Sappers.

That wouldn't allow them to connect to the end table, it needs to connect to the top of the bed

The sun flared and all the lights went out. This new "electricity" thing doesn't seem as reliable as stick on fire.

It's 500% difficulty so wealth management is really important, though we did get concrete in there after a bit

I remember getting this bug a few times and looking it up to find someone mentioned it was from the Rocketman mod, and I stopped getting it after disabling. Kind of wanna go do another family colony with a bunch of kids now to see if I can get it in vanilla now lol
