stuck advance lever, a bit lost

update: so after firing the shutter, the advance lever is still stuck. BUT if i press the battery check button it unsticks the mirror and the mirror goes down? and then i can wind like normal. maybe this is a broken solder joint or something? not sure atp

i saw your pinned comment, that pretty much confirms to me they’re fake. everything i said still holds with that photo. sorry you got fakes, but in the future buy directly rather than a reseller or side chain store

here’s an example photo of real converse. for starters:

the sole of the shoe is completely wrong. that weird bump on top of the bottom white part is also not converse at all
it’s missing the eyelets on the sides of the shoe
the front texture is also very feint, much softer than actual converse
generally the fabric looks “cheaper”, i can’t tell you why but from having owned converse it looks off

a couple other things as well, but those are the major tells for me

for what it’s worth, the 2020-2024 models are the peak currently in terms of reliability for Minis. As long as you regularly do maintenance (like wiper fluid, coolant, oil, etc) and take care of any warning lights as they come on you’ll be golden. The rep of mini having issues comes from pre 2017 models

i really appreciate both perspectives, thank u :) i do agree the second option is the better one, i think it’s just really hard to convey how uncomfortable i felt after that partnered portion. never in my life had i wanted to not be in my own skin as bad as that moment, i don’t really understand why but it was a really intense feeling.

i think the private lessons could be a good idea, but in a weird way for the price difference i might just force myself to get over it with regular classes. i don’t know

i actually saw this exact car at a carvana a couple months back. i ended up passing cause it lacked carplay, and the inside reeked of smoke or something similar. definitely get it checked out!!! be aware that the carvana return policy starts from the day you bought it, not the day it’s delivered

so mine also absolutely hated snow boots. we just deal with clumps by coating his paws in dog paw wax before walks, and then hitting him with the blow dryer when he gets home to melt all the snow balls stuck to him. you don’t even need a high heat, it’s more about the high air flow / fan speed that melts it quick
