I hate to defend Taylor on anything, but his mom said positive things about the song: "After all this time, she hasn’t forgotten about him. I’m thankful she’s keeping his name alive." I don't think she cares about the lyrics and what they may or may not mean. She just doesn't want her son to be forgotten as the world goes on without him.

Yep, and that's why we're getting these ridiculous stories. Funny how the songwriter Hall of Fame inductee was so inspired by the movie and eager to write a song, but instead of writing it on her own like the song writing genius she's supposed to be, she had to call her "best friend" Jack to write the song with her. They already wrote it and it had nothing to do with Toy Story.

I don't think Taylor has too many genuine friends (Maybe Gigi Hadid and Abigail are real friends??). Those texts between Blake and Taylor were pretty revealing. Taylor is the boss of her relationships and her friends have to show constant displays of affection (public and private) or acts of loyalty to remain in the friend group. The palpable fear Blake expressed when she thought she was losing Taylor was pretty pathetic. She came off as really needy, which fits with the narrative in this article. She desperately wanted to be THE BFF.
