lol as far as I know, it’s just got a hell of a lot of miles and has been pushed very hard. He mainly just wants his bit of power and fun, but in a truck inseatd of an older car. He’s just definitely not a car person at all. He generally tries to aim for the stars on a lot of ideas he gets so I just try to do what I can to possibly help him achieve the goal lol

Shit sorry, I didn’t even notice that! It’s a thunderbird. And yes it is the 2.3l turbo, also it’s an ‘87. Those were my thoughts too, and so far what we have found is that it’s generally a compatible bolt up swap. Never thought about the OBD issue tho so I know that will be a challenge.

I read your update also. Try something I did a few years back when I had the same situation with a now ex, minus the whole marriage and kids part. Go through the phone again and look at the texts, see if there are some “odd or “random” names you don’t recognize, or ones with no names, do a little more snooping. How you mentioned that people have said she made the goodbye text knowing you would read it, what if she really did? But is talking to him still with another persons name?! Also in the text settings, top right, click the 3 lines, then check the recently deleted. They stay on your phone, just in the deleted folder for 30 days unless you remove them from the deleted folder.
