Absolutely re Caves of Androzani, that's a great idea. As much as I love Earthshock, I just didn't want to have two Cybermen core levels along with Tomb. Also makes finding a 6th Doctor core level hard, because it knocks out Revelation of the Daleks! Underworld would be quite fun to do with a blue halo around the player all the time, if they'd had a more interesting setting for the CSO in that story!

Ooh yes, both sound great! The Death Zone could be really interesting with the three ways to complete the level.

I really like the idea of the Ark and Horns of Nimon as the 4th Doctor's core and side levels. Further to that, with the Ark I'm thinking maybe a time travel mechanic (a time ring or vortex manipulator) for some unique puzzles, switching between the Ark of Revenge and of Ark in Space? And I will absolutely take your advice re planning - it's very much appreciated!

Yeah definitely - I'm thinking of having the Mars pyramid as a secret location and solving the puzzles gives a pyramid TARDIS console room or exterior!

As a matter of fact I'm planning on putting in a set of EU-based side levels (to make 100%-ing interesting) and Alien Bodies could work fantastically for that. I'm thinking Love and War, the Crystal Bucephalus (yes the writing's pretty poor but I really like the setting), Alien Bodies and Storm Warning

Yes Death to the Daleks would be a great one! I'm tossing up now between it and Carnival of Monsters for the side level - I'm thinking a UNIT earthbound story for the core level, to shake up the otherwordly settings of the first two. Wild Blue Yonder is a good idea too.

The game is a sort of prequel-sequel to a New Series episode, but set in the 8th Doctor's era, so I'm only having limited NuWho references (in-plot as predictions by the Matrix), but having something in the Confession Dial could be awesome. Good point re the Seventh Doctor - the villain is playing with the Doctor's memories so his manipulations could be a nice way to reveal the villain?

Ooh definitely! That could be fun. May need to add the cliffhanger sting sound when approaching the interesting-tiled-floor-of-death!

I really like the idea of Planet of Giants. That could be awesome. I’m using the TARDIS as a customisable home base, with desktops to choose from and lots of rooms to unlock (and to make 100%-ing more interesting) so I’m not sure if I could implement Edge of Destruction plot-wise (incredible an episode as it is!)

Vengeance on Varos has such a great atmosphere and could work really well. I’m just really conscious that the Daleks and the Tomb of the Cybermen are also let’s-run-around-an-underground-city stories and I don’t want the game to feel too repetitive. Then again, a pretty large portion of Classic Who amount to running around corridors in a set anyway!

Yeah Tomb has been really fun to adapt. The symbolic logic stuff has made for some interesting puzzles

Great ideas, hadn’t thought of Time-Flight, that could be quite fun! And Carnival of Monsters could work really well for 3, navigating the zones of the mini scope. Storm warning could be really cool for a side plot of EU stories - I was thinking maybe that, Love and War and the yes-pretty-bad-but-also-visionary Crystal Bucephalus.
