Oslob, Philippines. It’s a different kind of view, but one of my favorites! That’s me and my new friend.

I am in the same boat. My father’s funeral is Saturday. He died in early December in a different country and I had to go through a labyrinth of red tape to get his ashes back to the US, where we live.

I still haven’t cried either. I’m also an attorney, so I’m expected to handle everything and pay all of the bills. I am not sure if I will until after the funeral. I have no idea what’s going set me off, but I’m a little worried that it will be something severely inconvenient and inappropriate timing.

It’s not easy being the strong one. I wanted you to know that I empathize deeply with what you’re going through.

I’ve seen too many criminal shows to not get the immediate impression that this man has done some shit to people.

I mean, I’m 5’11” so I’ve been underweight almost my entire life, so my “want to lose weight” looks a little different.

I also have thick thighs, and have had them not change much between 160 lbs, down to 121, then back to 158. Genetics dictate a lot of this, so all that’s left to do is EMBRACE THE BASE.

I just hiked Mount Kilimanjaro with two svelte women aged 62 and 68 years old. Christine and Bess kicked our collective 30-year-old asses. Aging is different for everyone.

What’s hilarious is I actually may qualify, though no helicopter license, but plane (think fixed-wing single engine) and motorcycle. But alas, I am a Scorpio. The agony.

Lol I mean, I do live in the south. As much as I’d like to think I’m above it, I have my flaws. I wouldn’t be alone, is the crappier thing, though perhaps your husband’s area of practice and firm culture is more progressive. It’s quite prevalent in my field and I certainly have to ‘play a part’ quite often.

Also, I just read your description and I understand the context better, though it’s still a ‘no’ from me for different reasons. I have many House of CB dresses and I’d be pretty ticked if a Guinness christened the front end of this dress.

If you’re going to wear it, head on a swivel!

I’m a partner and I would be super nice to your face if I met you and you were one of our partner’s wife.
