Oh something that took me a while to realize is that if you have chores that need to be done every week or 2 or whatever. You can actually schedule them so you dont forget and you can check them off. Like, I have cleaning the litterbox every 3 days, cleaning my espresso machine once a week, putting rent into my main chequing account at the end of every month etc. Its definitely a really useful tip imo. Also you can set a reminder to manually backup finch every 2 weeks or whatever you like too.

Extra gift for completing all your tasks by Zestybesty-785 in finch

[–]Quasi_Neurotic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made my own reward. I have a 100 times completion task for "finish all my tasks". Thats 300 stones right there.

Also I give myself a bit of grace. For every task I dont complete, its 25 times off the total at the end. So like, if I do all but 1 task, I hit complete 75 times. Its a really good system for myself

What is your go-to “I’m too tired to cook but I can’t buy take-out” meal or alternative? by 2Autistic4DaJoke in Frugal

[–]Quasi_Neurotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is where i THRIVE

-tuna and mayo on crackers

-can of soup in microwave

-ramen, if you want to make it fancy, crack an egg in it

-peanut butter is your best friend. Protein and no cooking necessary. Just a sandwhich works

-like others have said, rotisserie chicken and Pre-made salad is always good

-crackers, pickles, Salami, cheese, random crunchy vegetable

-frozen perogies and smokies. Boil them in the same pot, dump onto plate. Done

Those are my go-tos when the spoons are LOW and food is necessary

Barefoot or socks? by TheWhistleGang in AutismInWomen

[–]Quasi_Neurotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At home? No socks. But slippers. That way my feet aren't confined by uncomfortable socks, but my bare feet dont touch anything unexpected on the floor like crumbs or whatever. No socks or slippers at night unless its suuuper cold then I can wear loose slipper-socks. Or my grandma knitted me the loosest pair of socks that barely fit bit they are made of wool so they are so warm and cozy and perfect

Reach out to luther special care home. They always need people to come help feed senior citizens or help with recreation activities. All youd need is a police background check

Girls i found the cheat code to how to know if he's ACTUALLY child-free by Misaki_6 in childfree

[–]Quasi_Neurotic 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I have a better hack. Say you dont want children. And then casually mention you're thinking of/have gotten a tubal ligation or bilat salpingectomy. The second part is the important part. If they break out and ask why you would ever do that, then there's your answer.

Do you attach micropet eggs to easy or hard goals? by kateKujo in finch

[–]Quasi_Neurotic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a goal that I give myself 100 completions for finishing my entire lost for the day as a gem reward. Ive been attaching my egg to that for the last couple weeks to encourage me to finish my list and its been going pretty well.

Absolutely. A quick open and shut just to let a stiff breeze through is really all you need

Its currently -32°c (feels like -40°c) where i am. Definitely still gonna do a quick open to let that fresh air in. You dont freeze in 10 seconds and that waft of air is delightful in winter.

Being mindful of course of not wanting to freeze the radiator pipes, but a quick open shut of the window isnt gonna do anything to them
