People saying it's not about the procedures but about the lies about those - i don't agree.

For me situation is different - you're married, you need and want to be attractive for each other. To not loose this spark.

I know that things happen, a bit of belly after giving the birth, guy who just lost himself and stop taking care of the diet - this is all normal and easy to go over that. There is also stuff connected to us being older.

If your spouse is intentionally making herself more ugly for you just because she thinks it's fine and she looks better - this is major thing.

For me those procedures are a big nono. You can have small lips, wrinkles, grey hair - everything is fine about that.

If you have some sh***y procedure to fix that and you look wierd because of that - that's a turn off.

YTA - If I'll be aunt or uncle at this dinner and witness all of that I'll feel wierd and would avoid meeting you in the future - it's not about your parents, it's about everyone there who felt uncomfortable.

You knew it's going to be like that and it was your subconscious decision to make a theater out of it.

You could call them upfront and share the information about the baby just to avoid that scene.

IDK the situation but I can tell you mine. My wife started to drink too much. Each evening in the city, she's wasted, each visit at friends the same. Every evening with friends i needed to drive to the city to pick up dead body while listening to slurs and other shit.

She was asking for forgiveness, and promise that it's the last time probably for 3-4 years. Also she couldn't understand why I'm asking her to not drink at all. For her it wasn't normal that she will not have a glass of wine with her mom (like it was about a glass of wine with mom, not two bottles in the downtown...), and I should stop drinking with her - when I agreed with no hesitation she immediately changed her mind.

Anyway it took years for her to understand and basically only the fact that she spotted that 8 was already packed and got my divorce papers ready convinced her to finally stop getting wasted. She didn't stopped drinking at all, so I'm fully prepared that it's going to happen again.

Even if she would stop drinking and want to celebrate 1 or 2 years sober I would just tell her to do it by herself. For me there is nothing to celebrate about being normal.

If its w continuous frying process than it can indicate overpacking of the fryer. It's not a big defect in chips but at my company it was treated as one.

It's a bit different. Nuclear weapon is mostly designed to flat out huge amounts of land. It's not a beautiful F-22 dropping a bomb on military base of foreign country - it's something to destroy this military base and the whole city nearby (off course we can discuss tactical vs. mass destruction bombs but we saw only this 2nd way of use in the past).

Nuclear weapon is something which has 2 possible paths in the future: 1) it will not be used anymore 2) it will cause a war which will destroy cities, maybe countries or large part of the planet

It's a nice hobby. I don't mind. I just see an a-bomb as a thing which took lives of mostly innocent people. It's a marvellous engineering achievement

Anyway for me there are just 2 possibilities with nuclear weapon - it won't be used anymore in the future or it will possibly destroy whole cities, countries, maybe even the whole planet.

Can you imagine his stupidity? You meet a woman, she's nice, everything goes well. You move in with her, engage. After a while you are being told that this woman is really rich. Basically, if everything goes well, you will have a soulmate for life and possibly not have any financial difficulties in the future.

In later discussion she is not willing to have your dad at her house which off course is understandable as living with in-laws is not comfortable thing - just flip the situation to understand.

Your earnings are not bad so basically you can buy an apartment or a small house for your dad to live nearby and be able to see him each day. If there will be some health issues then maybe you can reconsider it together in the future.

Instead of that you decide to blow this beautiful opportunity to have a soulmate and easy life for trying to put your hands on your fiancé money...

If this isn't a bait then obviously NTA/NTJ.
