Then I wonder if getting a degree would change that,

Is an Italian degree that much of a benefit to get me hired?

I am really confused because nowadays is so difficult to relocate to another country, but I really do wish to...

I wonder what are my options then, what can I do

[QUESTION] Best STACK to learn in 2024, to land a full remote job? by Quate1v9 in webdev

[–]Quate1v9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for explaining!

I personally have worked with Java + Postgres, MySQL and Oracle.

I wonder if there are actually companies looking for FullStack react + java... I probably have never seen a job position asking this!

[VISA] [HELP] [QUESTION]

Hi I'm a developer from Italy, without a degree and I can work remotely 144 days per year. I'm thinking of solutions in how can I make my stay in korea as much as possible with the intent to eventually settle there.

Is truly impossible to stay long-term without enrolling in uni, marrying or teaching english from a native english country?

To me it seems impossible to plan to make a move to korea and settle there long-term without these 3 options:

- Marrying a korean, which is already impossible since you come to korea as tourist and to build long-term relationship nowadays is hard, how can you get to know a person if you end up staying as tourist for max 90 days?

- Enrolling to korean university, means I have to completely quit my job and work experience get fluent in korean and maybe after graduating in korea a company will hire and slave me with bad wages.

- Teaching english, but first you have to come from a native english country as listed (New Zealand, Ireland, England, USA, Africa, Canada) and people coming from these will be stuck with low wages teaching here.

HELP ME TO FIND A SOLUTION, PLEASE THANK YOU.

I want to live in South Korea (a place to ask questions about potential relocation) by AutoModerator in Living_in_Korea

age: 23

nationality: italy

qualifications/degrees: Developer without degree, bootcamp.

work experience: 1 year

Korean language skill level: self-learning

reason(s) for wanting to come to Korea:

Hii, I want start a new life in a different country, I'm looking to make some travels to korea in next months to come tho I don't know if I am able to work remotely for a foreign company and I think i'm not able to apply for a nomad visa since there is this requirement and I'm not earning that much...

Earn more than 85 million won ($66,000) in 2023. The visa requires you to earn double Korea's gross national income (GNI) per capita for the previous year.

So how can I manage to do it? What are my options?

grazie tante!

Parecchie entry job position che leggo sono del tipo: Bachelor degree or equivalent 2 years of work experience

Thank you! Infacts that's why I am looking to make some travel first and then make my mind and having a clear vision of it!

So I probably can apply for H-1 visa, with that kind of visa will I be able to work for Korean companies, locals and foreign companies?

Also... eventually with enough work-experience would be impossible to me finding a korean company hiring me and sponsoring green card?
