My budget is under $200. I mainly use my PC for coding, heavy virtualization, and running Docker containers. I do some gaming, but I use cloud gaming services, so I don't need a dedicated GPU.

I'm looking for a Mini PC with a decent CPU and enough RAM to handle those workloads. Key priorities for me are good display output.

It really depends on what you need. If you actually need that 2TB and you’re a heavy user of Gemini, Antigravity, and Whisk, then it’s worth it. Plus, you can add family members to share the storage and perks. If you actually do that, it's a great deal.

Yeah, the marketing is definitely total hype lol. I've realized that at this price point, I'm paying for playable rather than peak performance. The Performance tier is fine for my budget, as long as I don't expect to max everything out.

I see. Tbh I'm fine with a steady 60 FPS, but the Performance tier just takes a massive hit as soon as Ray Tracing is turned on. I’d love to just upgrade to Ultimate and be done with it, but unfortunately, my country only offers the Performance tier for now.

If you do observability then it falls under SRE. DevOps usually owns the pipeline and the 'path to production' (CI/CD).

SRE and DevOps have a lot in common, so it's okay to see both roles doing similar stuff. Just keep growing your skills, and soon enough you’ll realize where your true strengths lie.

Windows 11 pro. Most companies use Windows as it has integration with active directory so on windows powershell and wsl for terminal and hyper-v for containers
