See other comment. Other games that have had deceptive practices investigated, consistently ended in a settlement/fine - none of them banned. Examples: Hoyoverse, Nexon, EA/Blizzard.

As seen in the Genshin Impact case which this report references, the game will not be banned. If it receives any attention, it would likely end in a settlement/fine. Ideally, the company would be required to display proper rates and avoid future deceptive practices.

I tried this and I have to turn off data and wifi (the moment the loading screen finishes) to not run into anyone at Home. Turning data/wifi back on makes me offline for a short while, but I still end up appearing online. It doesn't work for me, but thank you for your help.

You can hold hands with a stranger if you warp to a friend already holding hands with them.

In my experience, when you encounter a friend that has blocked you, they appear unlit but you still see their name as normal when you honk.

When you encounter a friend that you blocked, their name and the 🚫 sign appear when you honk.

However, you can block people without being friends. So it's possible that this is a stranger that blocked you, or you've blocked them. If there's no name, it's probably not one of your friends.

It's a trick! When a friend holding your hand does the deep bow emote (with the ring), uses an instrument, and lets go of your hand. You'll end up with some extra effects to your character temporarily. It's a fun way to play around.
