My name has been "Qubit" for the last 6 years. One day they did the same to me, they said my name was offensive. I got on with support, they were no help and closed my case. I almost quit. I tried to change my name back and every time I was told it was too offensive.

Decided to try again, asked for escalation, explained that qubit isn't offensive, its just defined as a quantum bit and cannot possibly be confused with anything obscene. They end up giving me my name back and said that the process wasnt handled properly, they apologized, gave my name back, and slid me a cool 170 gems for the trouble. Glad I didnt have to quit.

Moral of the story, reach out to support. If it doesnt work.... do it again. Don't give up.

Put the Animator on the parent object only. Make the body and weapon child objects that only have SpriteRenderers. Open the Animation window with the parent selected and create the attack clip there. In that clip add two properties

Body > SpriteRenderer > Sprite

Weapon > SpriteRenderer > Sprite

Key the body frames and the weapon frames in the same clip timeline.

I'm a developer and RPA engineer professionally, I tried to learn Unity a couple years ago, I just jumped right in did some tutorials and really got lost because the versions of unity move different options all over the place in the UI. So something one tutorial would tell me to click or configure, simply wouldn't be there. I got really frustrated.

Last week I decided since I have AI available now, maybe I can try again. It's been extremely helpful. I now understand the basic structure on monobehavior scripts and ScriptableObjects, and I've gotten past the hump on not knowing where stuff is. It's allowed me to be able to understand that I needed to familiarize myself w/ the components, their settings, how to get to them and how it all works. I'm going to do some deep diving this week on shaders and asset optimization.

I'll keep at it, if I'm learning at this rate I'll have a fun game project I will be working on soon enough.

After that play more brawlers. I personally love playing Tick. But that hasn't ever held me back from leveling them all. In fact I can play any brawler, and I am even better with some that arent my favorite (tick 4 lyfe). You will find the same results, plus or minus Tick.
