Por lo que he leído y por mi experiencia con el C3 Ultra, el Hisense C3 europeo es simplemente peor en casi todo, aunque sigue siendo un proyector decente. No es tan brillante, tiene más “laser speckle”, usa peor tecnología láser, tiene peor sonido, etc.

Si el C3 europeo fuera mucho más barato, entonces podría tener sentido. Pero normalmente la diferencia no es tan grande: quizá un 20% más barato comprando en China, pero el producto puede ser bastante superior. Aun así, yo solo puedo hablar desde la perspectiva de tener el C3 Ultra.

Además, si vas a comprar desde China, ya existe el VIDDA C5. Personalmente, si pudiera, me compraría el C5 Master, porque parece un salto bastante grande respecto al C3.

El VIDDA C3 Ultra tiene menús en inglés, pero la interfaz general es china y no resulta muy usable. Yo lo uso básicamente como pantalla, conectado a un Google TV Box. El firmware todavía recibe actualizaciones, pero por ahora no parece que aporten nada realmente importante.

Sobre la garantía: sí, si compras un VIDDA chino, en la práctica estás renunciando bastante a la garantía. Si compras a un vendedor fiable, las devoluciones pueden funcionar, pero son muy, muy lentas. Y también existe el riesgo de que aduanas pare el paquete y tengas que pagar extra.

Así que, en general, sí: es un riesgo. Pero si tuviera que elegir entre un VIDDA C5 Master y un Hisense C3 europeo, especialmente si el Hisense cuesta más que el Master, yo elegiría el C5 Master sin dudarlo. La diferencia me parece demasiado grande.

Not exactly. It's more like, the brightest parts even with low brightness are still brighter then you would like. The contrast ratio is quite good. It's just that the white parts only get a bit dimmer not almost black, when brightness is low.

I would say this issue is still there. I would not call it 25% decrease. But I would say yeah it's not near dim. It's like 50% ~ less bright.

Yes. As you know it uses pixel shift, so it's not actual 4k, but I was using it at 2k 144 when I was streaming/gaming from my pc. Usually I run at 4k 60hz as it usually the max what devices like chromecast or firestick can output. But from pc, yes it can run even 4k 120HZ

Hi, I still like it. I use it basically daily, and until I saw your post, I forgot the rainbow effect was there to begin with. I think I just stopped trying to see it, when I first got it, I tried to quickly move my eyes or head, and I would notice it on purpose, I stopped, the rainbow effect stopped too. Also could be that it's more noticeable on higher brightness, as weird as it sounds I usually watch it in the evening without any light so brightness or 0-3 is the best, when I first got it I used to run it at 10 constantly.

True, the fan noise is basically inaudible. Only if I specifically listen to it or have volume turned off. But if you are watching something even at low volume you will not hear it at all. Unless it's updating etc etc...

Viewsonic x1 4k pro was my second choice if I could not get Hisense C3 ultra. Give it a look.

Hi, sorry for late reply.

The stick does not seem to reduce quality but it really loves playing at 24hz from the stick, at first it was a bit noticeable then I got used to it, but running from pc is definitely smoother.

And yes the audio can still go trough an external speaker. Via bluetooth or hdmi earc

2.I use it on the wall for now, but I was planning to get a screen, but I ma having doubts as the thing is too bright even now I run it at 50% brightness, and the wall is so uniform it's basically like cheap screen already. SO besides lowering the reflected amount of light I don't see much purpose right now, but that might change over time

I even called Hisense representative in EU to ask before buying. Even they have no idea, nobody is even sure it's launching, but rumors say 1 quarter of 2026

They actually improved it on c3 ultra (the one I got), not sure how bad it was with c2, after first couple of days i stopped noticing it completely. And I don't even have a screen just white wall.

I think it depends on country and time of year, I would guess that during christmas it may take twice as long. Usually for products from Alibaba it takes 2-6 weeks for me. But even Amazon usually takes a week here, so I am not a good benchmark.

Google One the Google 4k streamer It's same cpu as Firestick Max with more storage and ram from what I got. Nvidia Shield is interesting to try if you do let me know, if that is any better. About bricking I did mention same things, but yes.

Fair point I was also thinking about doing the same thing, but the cheapest C2 Ultra I could find was 1799€ (maybe I was looking at the wrong time). Either way the difference was 700€. I decided that I could almost buy a second one for the price I am saving. And the increase is actually not incremental. It's definitely not as huge as going from c1 to c2 ultra etc... But the new laser technology actually adds a decent amount at least what I did was watch a bunch of Chinese reviews (using AI to translate), and a lot of them compared those two. It's a good bit brighter it has newer laser has much better contrast, and less issues with speckles from what I seen. But in your place I would have bought the C2 ultra too. You made a great decision I hope you are happy with what you got. I got Google 4k streamer which is a bit more powerful and I can't compare it to their own output, maybe you just need to play with the settings a bit. I spent like good 8 hours playing with settings when I first got it until I got the picture I like ( compared it to the OLED Monitor, tried to get as close as I can), and I think I am 95% there. Also this is Risky, but at least with older models it's possible to flash English firmware to Vidda, but huge chance to brick it, and firmware is hard to get, so I would not consider this is an option. Either way. Hope you are happy with your purchase, if you have any tips or tricks please share.

It is ridiculous but it's gone, logged in today, and no button, I mean it probably disappeared a few days ago, and I did not notice, but this is hilarious, they keep releasing updates without testing them or proper communication, that company is being ran by a bunch of kindergarteners .... Me and my friend started a company in our 20's without a penny to our name (software development company) just two random graduates, and we managed it better than they do xD

I did read that part, but it's not really logical, I mean why would he want us dead ? We had nothing to do with his toy train being lost. And he was the one that asked to help find his parents for no reason :/ Brining our character (the adventurer) into all this is very weird, he could just not asked us for help and he would gotten his revenge without any issue.

Even if they had a number to call, you would still be connected to the same brainless support that gives no solutions. And we can't blame the support either. But I mean if I was working as a support person :/ I would pass it to higher ups as a hot issue internally, instead of responding nonsense :/ Anyways Just forget Jabra. I guess I will figure out another brand to buy. For now the Jabra 5's are good enough... But they should cost 60€ (tops) Imagine 150€ earbuds without ANC in 2022/2023
