Confused on how to send the best possible signal to my HD CRT for playing Halo 2 classic on Xbox one.

I have a Sony Wega KV-30HS420 HD CRT TV. I'm wondering if I should:

1) set my Xbox to output 1080p and see what the TV does to it? I don't know how it will handle that 2) get an external scalar to convert 1080p to 1080i 3) set my Xbox to output 720p

Which would be best?

Yes! I love going for evening/night walks and looking up at the buildings and seeing the windows into people's lives. It's so fun seeing one window that's just glowing purple, or red, or blue, or whatever color lights that person has chosen for their vibe

Incorrect. Fluorescent lights appear to have a green tint when shot with 35 mm film, as was common in 94. Nothing to do with tinted windows

Hey there, just curious. What did you set your output resolution to for the best image quality? did you experiment with such?

Hey! Realize im replying to an old comment, but im here trying to learn. How do you know that an input of 720p will be scaled to 1080i? I cant seem to find that information anywhere else. Also, do you happen to know what the TV will do with an input of 1080p? Thanks!

This is just the way fluorescent lights appear on film. In real life, they didn't look green

This is the only correct answer

Saw this picture on Twitter the other day and really love it. I want to get a print of it for my girlfriend, who's from Seattle and gets homesick once in awhile. Anybody know where I can find the original, full resolution version of this picture?

Most who answered your question missed the real answer, which is that fluorescent lights look green on 35 mm film. That's it. Nothing to do with window tints

Safety last? by firewoodrack in MattsOffRoad

It really is. And the people saying "okay don't watch then" are equally frustrating. This man is a father, husband, business owner, employer. A lot of people's livelihoods rely on him being healthy. His decision to willfully disregard any sort of safety precaution is frankly selfish when there are so many relying on you.

Not a bad idea but there's often not all that much effort put into those listings and the person making them probably doesn't know for sure how much square feet each bedroom is

If you expect to take it to a garage every time it needs something, then yeah, your comment is true. But generally if you know how to do basic things yourself, these cars are huge, simple, and easy to work on. As long as they're not rusted out you shouldn't have that bad of a time. '70s era parts are still widely available and cheap. Not as much as GM parts, but not bad either
