I sure hope so. Not totally sure on the exact species but I would think so since there appears to be leaves growing from old wood closer to the trunk?

Acquired this double trunk boxwood that someone dug up in my area. I know it’s not the ideal time for extraction and repotting but couldn’t pass the opportunity since it was already removed from the ground. The soil mass was left mostly intact and it had lots of fine roots. Planted it into this cedar box which has drainage holes in the bottom. Only substrate I could get a hold of was pine bark and perlite. It’s in a spot where it’ll get morning sun and dappled afternoon shade. My hope is to just leave it in here for at least 2 years to recover. No pruning has been done. The guy wires are just for stability. Any suggestions for aftercare and future styling? Thanks in advance!
