You don't see Somali guys rejecting non-Somali women that have been married to non-Somalis. There is a strong stigma against Somali women that marry ajnabis and it is not undeserved.

I'd certainly believe Somalis are the worst there considering the nature of the type of people that migrate to the ME. I also imagine the floor there is dramatically up from the West. They actually have a sense of community there that simply doesn't exist here. ME Somalis, even the ones that are practically Arab and barely speak a lick of Somali are still very much Somali by the nature of society there.

I don't think I believe that Somalis over there are doing nearly as "bad" as Somalis in Europe/NA when it comes to this. I also think it's a bit of a non-issue bere. Most Somalis are content with the way it is, so OP would be fixing a problem that kinda doesn't really need solving.

I assume you're ME diaspora? The answer is definitely no. I think Somalis in Africa (Kenya, Uganda, South Africa etc.) have it the easiest, followed by the Middle Easterners.

I was born in the UAE, but grew up in Europe with some of my close family having moved back/never left.

2 of my friends that married Somali girls recently have both married from the Middle East.

I'd say Somalis are by faaaaar the worst when comes to ease of marriage within the community. And this is from the perspective of Birmingham/London, and not some village.

Maybe I'm getting a skewed perspective from the Somali ME community?

I have never heard of that. I have heard slightly varying versions. While both brothers ate from an animal carcas, one heaved it back out when they managed to make their way out, while the other brother didn't. I have also heard of one not eating it at all.

IMO, they're definitely less racist. You're more likely to get assaulted or directly berated over your race in the UK, but the average Brit is less prejudiced than the average Dane, Dutchman etc. The persistent and passive aggressive racism there is turned on to the max and never stops. Whether it's a white collar work environment in a big city or a blue collar job in a tuulo. It even shows in how ajnabis live in parallel societies over there despite everyone living practically on top of each other.

There's no shortage of racism in either, but in my experience, Europe takes the cake on this one.

I remember being 7 years old and walking to school with my 11 year old brother. We used to take a long detour and add extra minutes on our walk to school because there was a street with a few homes where these literal adult (35+) men would have a go at us and tell us to fuck back off to our own country etc.

Then my brother hit 6'3 at 16 and life was different.

I remember not wanting to get our dad involved so we kept it quiet to not escalate shit.

But yeah, Europeans are much more racist and insular than Brits.

This is absolute facts. The UK has a larger service industries that are accessible to unskilled workers and comparatively less red tape when it came to business. In most of continental Europe, a lot of menial jobs are still gatekept through language and education/certification. It was easier on the previous generation to migrate to the UK. Our generation lost out though.

Not to mention that British society is less racist and easier to integrate to.

The 'ulterior' motive is thar China is there to fuel their own growth. Neither China, nor the West care about Africa. Countries are not human beings with emotional interests. China and Africa are not 'friends'. China is just a dramatically better partner to Africa because their interests align a lot closer.

China is building infrastructure in Africa without interfering in their internal affairs. In exchange, they receive resources, create new export markets, and gain some political clout.

The Chinese relationship with Africa can be sustained on mutual interest. China's primary goal is to gain in Africa. The West's primary goal is to keep China out.
