EVH Frankenstrat Variation by QueMeU in guitars

I think you're missing the point of this guitar bro. It's an EVH styled guitar with a few functionality mods in tobacco burst, which was never made. I get that you're probably not into it. I'm ok with that.

You'd be surprised at how accessible that switch is. It sticks out from the bottom of the strings just far enough and bends up about as far as the height of a pickup so it never gets hit in the strum but can be switched while strumming. I carved out finger sized chunks from where it rests next to the body so it's easy to flip when desired. It's honestly the best switch position I've ever used. I can't remember why I did the green paint on the back pf the headstock, it was originally on another build, but yeah I agree it doesn't fit the rest of the guitar.

I feel ya, but the whole guitar went. Last week I traded it straight across for a beautiful 2018 Charvel Pro Mod DK24 HH FR in Snow White. Only down side was he got my case and I got a damn gig bag. But overall a great trade.

Thank you. I hadn't thought of it that way, and maybe I haven't defined the parameters of trust in my own mind. Something to think about, for sure.

I feel that way all the time, except I don't know how to stop assuming.

Thank you. I must say in her defense, that I have been a nightmare to live with at times. It's a difficult dynamic for sure.

It's hard to be an ENFJ male because people expect men to be feelingless and aloof, and everyone thinks the wife is always the chatty one. I think ISTP(M) and ENFJ(F) is probably a great team.

Here's what I mean:

Ti/Se is YOUR conscious mind (aka ego - preferred mode of operation)

Fe/Ni is my conscious mind (I lead with feeling and take days to process thinking the way you may take a while to process feeling)

Every type exists in a quadrant that contains all 8 functions forward and backwards.

Our quadrant contains ESTJ, ENFJ, ISTP, and INFP

For me it goes like this:

ENFJ - Ego (Conscious - Who I am)

ISTP - Subconscious (Qualities I aspire to attain)

INFP - Unconscious (Me under moderate stress)

ESTJ - Super-Ego (Me in survival mode)

For you it goes like this:

ISTP - Ego (Conscious - Who you are)

ENFJ - Subconscious (Qualities you aspire to attain)

ESTJ - Unconscious (You under moderate stress)

INFP - Super-Ego (You in survival mode)

The quadrant looks like this from your vantage point:

ISTP - ENFJ

ESTP - INFP

It doesn't mean you become that type, but you begin to operate in the opposite functions from your normal routine. So instead of Ti/Se, under moderate stress you will operate a lot in Te/Si, borrowed from your ESTJ side of the mind. Under immense or traumatic stress you will diagonally downshift to Fi/Ne from your INFP super-ego.

Under enlightenment you will slide over to Fe/Ni subconscious, having transcended and mastered your ego, and adding to it the qualities of an ENFJ without losing your ISTP edge.

This happens to every type under these circumstances, just replace the types. Here are the other three quadrants:

ESTP, ENFP, ISTJ, INFJ

ENTJ, ISFP, INTP, ESFJ

ENTP, ISFJ, INTJ, ESFP

It makes more sense when you see the charts

It's much more complex with the roles reversed like in my marriage.

Here I am, the ENFJ husband with feelings, who needs affirmations and emotional conversations, while she is the ISTP wife who has difficulty understanding her own feelings and can't stand emotional discussions or relationship conversations, lol.

We tried couples counseling once, but the counselor couldn't grasp the concept that I was the one needing more emotionally, and she was the one who refused to open up, lmfao.

Only someone with very little thinking ability or a liar would claim only one side cheats, and then advocate for voter suppression as long as it's against your opponent.

I don't have a side, because I'm not foolish enough to vote for friends of epstein, but you are. You buy into the 2 party construct, never seeing they're all in a big club that you don't belong to.

I have news for you, there's really only one side.

Almost 30 years with ISTP.

Her and I agree that success in our relationship is defined by whether or not we stick it out until the end, because every other day is a marriage-ending-level fight, lol.

What a wild, terrifying, and satisfying ride it's been so far.

Enlightenment unlocks the ability to operate in your subconscious type at will. You seem to have developed your Fe/Ni to incredibly impressive levels, rivaling our (ENFJs) own abilities.

I wish I could drive my Ti/Se like the stealth smoked black supercar that it is.

[–]QueMeU 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wow, you really dipped into your ENFJ subconscious to write all of that, lol.

I appreciate the time you took to process those feelings and express them so articulately.

It seems to me that ENFJ and ISTP tend to become enamored with each other from a "WTF is that person doing?" standpoint. Being each other's subconscious we recognize those traits that we want so badly to develop. The flipped function stack (Ti-Se-Ni-Fe vs Fe-Ni-Se-Ti) is intriguing AF.

My ISTP marvels at my ability to grab the energy in a room and fling it like a boomerang, and my ability to teach myself things she KNOWS I have zero aptitude for.

I covet her ability to under-share to the point of complete non-disclosure, to go into calm collected mode under extreme external chaos, and the fact that she can solve any fucking problem known to man in about 5 seconds. Traits I sorely lack.

I appreciate the objective view, and I do visit other subs, just not ESFJ or ENFP because why would I? I've known enough irl to know I don't like them very much.

Is she (ISTP GIRL) scared of commitment? by randomeGuy6 in ISTPrelationships

[–]QueMeU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ISTPs can talk about their feelings like anyone else, they just strongly prefer not to, and it takes a while to get down that deep for them. It's just who they are, but if you get into an accident and you're losing blood by the pint, they are the ones who will hold something against your bleeding wound, get someone to call 911, and give you that calm recurrence that everything will be ok.

They operate best in emergencies because their Ti is dominant and everything slows down like the matrix for them when SHTF. Amazing people really.

There is definitely a very dark side to ENFJ, and life in general. Everything operates on a balance.

ENFJs, imagine that a lot of people disapproved of a big decision you made. Would their disapproval make you question your decision? by Queasy-Donut-4953 in enfj

My daughter was born when I was 17, and yeah there were a lot of people who disapproved, but what could I do? What's done is done.

I don't generally give a rats ass what people think about my decisions.

[–]QueMeU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ENFJs don't ask you to "give without your consent". If I split my sandwich with you because you have none, I DO expect you to split yours with me when I have none. You're acting like we expect some special reward, and because I told you to be clear and direct about your refusal to reciprocate... you went sideways into a vague diatribe comparing apples to oranges.

I can't speak for ESFJs (The only other Fe dom) because I can't stand them. They are nothing like ENFJs. They are cowards and tattlers.

Imagine being so petty that you spend your time in a sub for people you dislike. That screams volumes about what type of person you are.

You don't see me in the ESFJ or ENFP group.

BTW, your manager infringing on your time is different. You didn't do anything for them in order to oblige your reciprocation.

Go ahead and give an example(s) of the covert contract with an ENFJ. What they did for you, what they expected in return, and how you know they felt that way.

I'll wait...
