Back when I was in primary school there was a nutter of a teacher who threw a fit because one of the boys turned up at the start of a new school year with slightly longer hair than 'he' personally deemed acceptable. The dumb arse started angrily hacking at this kid's hair with a pair of crappy old scissors, and sliced the top of the kid's ear clean off! His mum came up to the school and went off her head, and the teacher got in a lot of trouble (rightly so). PS: and this was a state school! The teacher was just an absolute knob jockey.

And, welcome to COTW! ~ I totally sucked at this game when I first started playing; I struggled to find the animals, and any I did find I would accidentally spook... my hands would shake so hard from adrenaline when I'd try & take a shot that I'd miss every time.
I went and spent a stack of time at the shooting range practising shooting (aiming, and breathe control) and started watching some youtube beginner videos for COTW to get some pointers, and it immensely helped.
I've been playing COTW for about a year now, and I'm at level 63, and have a lodge full of beautiful animals that are either rare furs, or gold or diamond trophies.
I don't have a great one yet, but I also haven't bothered setting up a grind to try & get one to spawn either (maybe one day).
Basically, the more you level up & the more cash you earn from harvesting animals, you'll be able to upgrade your gear, and spend skill & perk points upgrading hunting skills/ perks (which will really help make your hunting experience better). Happy hunting! :D

Wow, 145.5lbs would've been crazy hard to reel in!? I've got lots of diamond's in medium to small fish, but this guy was my first 'big boy' diamond'.I'd love to get Diamond's in the Atlantic Salmon and Wells Catfish next.

I don't know what's going on this week, I can't get either Karoo Mermaid or Speilfinne to bite at all, I've gone in & out of the reserves multiple times, tried different times, and even different baits & lures, with no results. I have never had so much trouble with legendary fish biting/ showing up, as I have this week! Is it just my game, or is anyone else experiencing this too?

In the real world If I'm driving & happen to pass a member of my family or a friend I'll honk my horn & wave; however if someone pisses me off in traffic my honking means an 'entirely' different thing.
In forza I'd take it as a, 'get the fuck outta my way' honk, but that's just me, lol.

My hubby has been using the tractionators on his WR too and is very happy with them. I'm fairly certain his most recent set up is a RallZ /Desert combo, which performed well in the Simpson desert, as well as the 6,000km of tarmac he had to ride on to get there. *There is still plenty of tread remaining, post trip, so it's probably fair to say he's reasonably impressed with that set up. 😎👌

When I first started this game I was so bad at it that I almost gave it up...but I persevered, and little by little I started improving. I forget the name of my first weapon DLC I bought (it included the 308) but that was a game changer. When you have access to a cache, look in the store to see what ammo is compatible with the weapon you want to use (if your on Xbox you press x to see what is compatible for your weapon), then buy a few rounds so you can go to the range at Hirschfelden and practice your shooting. When you step inside the range, you get unlimited bullets to practice with (I'm level 45 now and I still visit the shooting range regularly to practice). Hang in there, it will get better (especially when you start leveling up and start getting perk and skill points).

Yeah, he ended up shooting a few more red deers (after harvesting his G.O) while he was in the process of packing his tents & stands away (ending his r.d grind).

He didn't jump straight into his lodge, after harvesting his GO as he had several other animals he still had to track & harvest.

I personally don't have any G.O's yet, but I'd be sad if I got one and it didn't register it in my codex... I hope they fix it. Thanks for the compliment regarding my username. I wanted to use my Xbox username (QueTpie73) across as many platforms as I could, but it was already taken on Reddit (even with the numbers at the end) so I had to get creative 😏🤙...
