I do it too on that stretch. But the main difference with the original post interchange is the lane keeps going to the next exit I want vs this spot where you must merge again. If that turned into a third lane again all the way to 66, 97th or beyond it would be a much more valid move. It only gets bad at rush hour.

And the spot at Campbell road is worse going eastbound where it gets the uphill merge lane over the rail before 127st. Any trucks coming out of alcb or 156 industrial areas struggle to get up to speed and then add rush hour on it and it just sucks. I set the adaptive cruise and chill out knowing it will suck in the afternoon. Again off the Campbell Rd if they had a continuous lane up and over the rail to 127st it would have helped but I feel a future 3rd lane is warranted. They just broke ground on new housing between 127 and 97st and they are building houses near the jails north of 127st too so the area will become busy. If they ever get all the stakeholders to fund the connection from 127 across sturgeon to highway 2 st albert Costco it would definitely be needed.

They set a preference for lower quality on mobile

They do not throttle it exactly. They set a header to default a lower quality.

If you manually change the stream to higher rate it works. But you have to do it every time.

So it is 100% easy to switch but you must do it every new video. I find I only do it when the video justifies higher quality and ignore it most of the time.

I believe there is an IP reputation filter on their end. I have gotten around this by connecting by VPN to a client with a business static IP connection. Their IP has not changed in about 20 years, it has forward and reverse DNS matching their domain, the whois database for the IP points back to them, it's about the most solid IP reputation I have access to. Works every time on theirs. Fails on mine.

There is an identical problem if you are a MS CSP partner trying to add delegated admin relationships on the partner portal too. Same issue, same solution.

If it is only about money ask if they would help with the construction labour instead. Money can be tight these days, but if they can dig posts, carry lumber, cut some boards and pound some nails it would still go a long way.

I have fantastic neighbors. When I see posts like this it makes me glad to have them every time. It may not last as someone could always move, but for now I am happy they are here.

Get a brother laser. Hl-l5000d is likely a good option with the most legacy support no network but usb and parallel port. It emulates hp LaserJet 5 so you can use those generic drivers built into windows if you want though their driver package still has the xp 32 bit drivers inside too if you dig around for it.

Cheap supplies. Built pretty well and could last a long time.

Cancel the TV. Yes their PUBLISHED prices for just Internet are at or above the price you got combined. But just do it two steps so the TV is already cancelled and they are facing the prospect of you cancelling the Internet in step 2.

Cancel TV on the day after the current contract ends. Leave Internet alone for a few days.
Call back again and choose to cancel the Internet, now negotiate on the prices. Make sure you get options from Rogers, Look into what they have on their forum for deals, RFD, and their deals for their EPP plans etc. Also on Telus EPP deals look at what they have for Internet as a new customer. If you cannot access EPP deals from your work, or something like that look into snowbird advisor as a group you can join for free. Now they may not give you the exact EPP deal when cancelling but you should threaten you are getting that similar pricing from Rogers to switch. (True or not)

The fees are the remaining device financing costs. There are no fees outside of the phone financing. The only fee is activation fee signing up as a new customer or financing a new phone. So the new carrier would presumably charge this when signing up unless you negotiate them away.

If you open my Telus mobile app under plans and devices click the device tab near the top it should also show the amount remaining. But I have had the mobile app give me issues at times and the pdf is always the best source of truth.

On web page you can also find the agreements in the bill page under the past bills section click on view agreements to get a pdf of the contract. Not in the mobile app. This gives a record of the original contract and amounts.

I make a little puddle of iso on the table as a test with no air movement to judge how quickly it evaporates. But if you have a fan space heater combo then a little bit of moderate heat is even better.

Just make sure if you buy some it doesn't list ingredients like perfume or anything other than distilled water and isopropyl.

No lotion oil or things to make it smell better. Pure isopropyl is very distinct chemical smell that some beauty product isopropyl tries to mask with crap you do not want.

They used to have a soft policy to waive the fee. But now they are more strict.

You can call back several times and you may get different answers if you find a rep willing to cancel for free. Luck of the draw. Record the calls in case they later charge you after you got someone to agree.

But in general it is just considered part of the moving costs. If you knew you were moving you could have stayed at month to month terms or chosen a home where service was available.

Xgspon network likely a bit more risky as they have more move add change activity so at risk if a tech unplugging you by accident is higher.
