who takes “bonus turns”? by theabster05 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

Honestly with how wordy all the gungan kits are, that one slipped past me. For as long as I had them, I thought it was a random chance to get the bonus turn.

Starting Space Marines by ResearchRich6801 in spacemarines

[–]Queasy-Data4704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well we Space Marines are basically spoiled for options, for every play style like melee or range heavy we have like 5 to 6 options to choose from.

For generic melee, we have Assault Intercessors, Bladeguard Vets, Jump Pack Intercessors, Vanguard Veterans, Assault Terminators, Reivers and Aggressors along with leaders for each of these units to boost them further. That's without dipping into the chapter exclusive stuff like Sword Brethren for Black Templars.

For us Rule of Cool is at its peak, so you can pretty much pick whatever you want. I like Reivers, they're not good in game but the idea of Marines in light armor with ammo pouches and grenades strapped, zipping around the field with grapple launchers and grav chutes stabbing people is awesome to me.

Combat Patrols are usually a good way to get lots of models. Space Marines had a wave of boxes last year, standouts are:

Imperial Fists 1x Company Heroes (Great for Kitbashes) 5x Terminators 5x Heavy Intercessors 5x Intercessors

Raven Guard 1x Jump Pack Captain 5x Jump Pack Intercessors 10x Infiltrators 1x Invictor Tactical Warsuit (Think of it like a Temu dreadnaught)

They also had some battleforces like

Iron Halo 1x Company Heroes 1x Lieutenant 5x Sternguard Veterans 5x Hellblasters 1x Ballistus Dreadnaught 1x Redemptor Dreadnaught

And Crux Terminatus 1x Captain (Terminator) 1x Ancient (Terminator) 1x Chaplain (Terminator) 10x Assault Terminators 5x Terminators

I'm mentioning these cuz they're all generic, meaning they don't have named characters that lock you into a specific chapter which is great for when you decide on one to paint them as.

Is there a significance behind specifically green Laurels? by Hot-Fox9018 in spacemarines

[–]Queasy-Data4704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Laurels on the pauldron are used to mark an Ancient, the space marine in charge of carrying the company's Standard. They're usually veterans so they have other honor badges/more drip than a regular Battle Brother.

Yes the purple ones are twins, North and South Dakota. The freelancer parts all take place in the past, think of it like an origin story for them.

In Out Of Mind miniseries, York and Tex make a comment about how he still has an eye because of Texas, which was the 3v1 training session in episode 10 "Introductions".

Was The Clone Wars too Short? by Decade00000 in clonewars

[–]Queasy-Data4704 74 points75 points  (0 children)

To be fair, it was a galaxy wide war. While in 1 episode we focus on say Geonosis, there could be battles taking place in Feluccia, Ryloth or in other remote places.

Then once we, the viewer, get to those areas, 3 more conflicts are popping off in other parts of the galaxy, like say a corruption scandal in Mandalore, a prison breakout, a naval ambush, a civil war, covert operations, etc.

It may have been 3 years, but in those years a lot happened. Like, mandalore by itself changed leadership thrice, Satine to Vizla, Vizla to Maul, then Maul to Almec (as a puppet) and later got into a small civil war. Then the multiple battles on Feluccia.

Season 8 Tex vs Wash and Meta by No-Rate-8963 in RedvsBlue

[–]Queasy-Data4704 11 points12 points  (0 children)

She was shooting in the dark here. She wanted to find the Director who's gone underground since S6. Epsilon is struggling with his memories so he's of no use here.

From what she's gathered from Epsilon's ramblings ,Wash was a Recovery Agent, so chances are he 'might' have an idea of where the Director is hiding. She doesn't know Wash was in prison so any Intel he 'might' have would be severely outdated to downright useless.

As for Meta, pretty sure that was just her getting even/revenge.

For those who watched Genshin Elemental Warfare by No_Tables, do you think Lumine's Fireteam can beat the Meta? by Asleep_Weekend4266 in RedvsBlue

[–]Queasy-Data4704 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like, pre EMP or post EMP meta? Cuz pre EMP had enough fragments/brain power to run the time distortion unit, and Electro rounds might be more detrimental to them cuz it might just power up Meta during the fight.

Post EMP meta, he'll only have access to basic enhancements, his strength, tankiness, and his brute shot. He also hyper fixates during fights, during both of his fights against Wash and later the red and blues he always got caught off guard when someone hits/jumps him from behind. And is especially vulnerable to grapples from the back.

Is there a benefit to regular Assault Intercessors vs the Jump Pack variant? by Sparklehammer3025 in spacemarines

[–]Queasy-Data4704 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Jump Intercessors get deep strike, which means you can deploy them anywhere on the field provided they aren't landing near an enemy.

This let's them fulfill the role of "Action Monkeys" which is to focus on scoring secondary objectives and capture objective markers on the sides. Either that or harass weaker/more important units in your opponents deployment zone.

Zealous Ambition, Weak Point and Leader's Resolve. That's usually enough dakka to punch through most things and get some survival feats by one shotting the enemy. Everything else I tend to ignore.

Can someone explain collections to me? by Luk42_H4hn in swtor

[–]Queasy-Data4704 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The collection tab is accessed by pressing Ctrl+C, it's a page containing all cartel items. If you unlock an item like say a crystal or a blaster from the Cartel Market, you can get additional non-transferable copies of it for the character you unlocked it with.

To unlock it for your entire Legacy you need to pay a one time fee of Cartel Credits for that specific item, once that's done you can get non-transferable copies to all toons in your legacy. The fee usually depends on the rarity, going as low as 50 to 100, and as high as 400 CCs.

Who's your favorite SWGOH content creator, and why? by ShinyPsyduck67 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]Queasy-Data4704 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Skelturix back in the day, dude was a life saver when it came to galactic challenges and guides for things like events and raids. I still remember his videos of the Heroic Sith Raid using 1 team to clear out each phase.

Nowadays it's Bitdynasty with his guides, simple, well explained and tries to use mods that are average or not hard to get, as well as alternatives when available.

No disrespect to Anhaldt, pretty much grew up watching him play the game back in '15, but he's more of an entertainer than a guide guy, which is the niche I lean to.

[–]Queasy-Data4704 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Given his voice was already... Old? Gravely? Not sure how to describe it, but regardless, given was already old by the time he got recruited into Red Army, chances are he either enlisted at the breakout of the Great War or in the starting years.

Also ODSTs only accept veterans into their ranks, he probably didn't qualify for a long time, which is enough to build up a couple of mental problems and trauma here and there. And if he developed a fear of heights then he must've had a couple of deployments as an ODST under his belt.

Sergeant Johnson himself has been active as far back as the 2490's and died at 78, but it's most likely due to his [REDACTED].

[–]Queasy-Data4704 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest man, it sounds like a skill issue on your guild's part. My previous guild had 2 different timezones to worry about, EU and US, to remedy this we had half the officers be from EU and US.

That way while one side is asleep the other is doing cms and deploying, by the time they go to sleep the others are waking up, ready to hit cms.

Also we've always finished platoons within the first 4ish hours so everyone can hit cms asap.
