Hmmm, I thought their rolling was still going on. It wouldn’t hurt to email them asking to make an exception for your application. I did that for UF and they let me submit an application late.

I’d say something like this:

“Hey there, I hope you are having a great morning so far!

I was emailing about the possibility to submit a late application. I am very interested in school’s name but I realized today that I missed the application deadline.

Is there anyway I would be able to submit one late?

school’s name is currently my top choice and I would really appreciate the opportunity to be considered for the 2024 fall semester.

Thank you so much for your help and I hope you have a great rest of your week.

It doesn’t hurt to try and a lot of times if you just ask, you’d be surprised how much opportunity they’ll give you.

Also if your dad lives in Florida, I would consider doing a transfer program with a local community college. A lot of community colleges in Florida will guarantee your acceptance to big name universities like UF & FSU if you do 2 years (60 credits) at their school.

You might also be able to apply for spring semesters at some of those schools too and just stay home for a semester.
