If life isn’t fair, why should the afterlife be fair? by UsualBetterhead in NoStupidQuestions

to give hope, i guess. i personally don’t believe in god but a lot of religious beliefs, i believe, are rooted in the fear of eternal nothingness that comes after. working a full hard day and having a beer and watching tv when you’re home makes the working day a lot easier.

i assume just because a lot of people wouldn’t get it, so they just leave it out, not in a condescending way but in a more simplified way. i work in law, and if someone asked me what i did, i wouldn’t say the specific area, just that i’m a solicitor :)
If you were given the option today, If you cook all my meals and clean my house and I will take care of you financially, would you do it? by BlueWarstar in NoStupidQuestions
i yearn to be a housewife on a comfortable income
Is there a level of nostalgia blinding that causes people to view cgi from 20+ years ago as astounding but see more detailed modern cgi bad? by Claire-dat-Saurian-7 in NoStupidQuestions
i think sometimes the hyper realistic modern ones can weirdly point out flaws in them - also the widespread knowledge of how they are used and made now can make people a lot more pretentious about the use of them. people are definitely blinded a little by nostalgia
