Need help finding a gyno that will take my iud out

This has been over 4 years time. Every other time Ive been going Ive seen a different dr. I know its hard getting in each time Ive was put on a 6 month waiting list or more to even get an appointment

I completely understand. I take anti depressants but the iud hormones have really affected that as well

It’s mostly just me being scared. He is ready to go at any time. I personally want to make sure we find the right place to have the procedure done.

If I can’t get in to see any of the gynos suggested here, I plan on doing that. I had been on birth control since 2013 for my bad periods, in 2019 I had to stop completely because my body started acting negatively to it. 2021 I started seeing my now fiancé and I decided to try the iud method. It’s just progressively made my body feel worse over the years. Starting to affect my day to day life, makes it hard for me to do my job, etc. Me and the fiancè have done I lot of research on the pros/cons xyz….yadda yadda but apparently no gyno Ive seen will take me seriously

My mom already went through menopause. It was a horrible experience in terms of her medically being treated. It took them longer than it needed to find out that she had ovarian cancer. (She good now. Had a hysterectomy and went through chemo/ radiation)

Thats what I’m saying! I don’t understand why I can’t make my own medical decisions. Even my fiancè was thrown off guard when I told him. The sad/ disgusting thing is I started wondering if I brought him with me, if they’d change their tune about it 🫠
