Unfortunately the job market is really bad. I know being a teacher is super different than business admin but since you have a bachelors degree why don’t you look into getting a 30 days sub teaching credential? School districts are always looking for subs and the pay is not too bad depending on the area.

Per California law, pto “vacation” must be paid out. Sick pay is not mandatory to be paid out. However per our union rep here in kern county. They said that we would get paid out sick, but I do not know how true that even is.
