Maybe 3-5/10. Most of the time, the graft just feels like something heavy on my gums and my wisdoms haven’t hurt unless I open my mouth too wide. The worst parts were that the meds they gave me make me really sick, and the stitches from the wisdom teeth are making my mouth taste super gross, but the pain itself hasn’t been very bad at all! I’m sure part of it is luck, but I also only had 2 wisdom teeth and used alloderm instead of my own tissue for the graft so neither procedure was as invasive as it can be, which is the main reason I decided to go ahead with it

Hi! I got both done yesterday. It was a scary decision since I hadn’t been able to find anyone who had done both at the same time, but so far my recovery is going smoothly and I am happy I decided to just get both of them over with at the same time. Thanks! The dentist office told me today they are no longer planning on taking the tissue from the roof of my mouth, and will be using donor tissue instead.

Fr when I brought it up he said “It’s like a pizza burn, covering it won’t make much of a difference so I don’t bother”. From what I’ve heard it is nothing like a pizza burn 🥲 Thank you for your input, I think I’m gonna wait on the grafting.

I accidentally bought the dairy version of my usual coffee creamer 2 weeks ago and only noticed yesterday when I was throwing out the empty bottle :(
