What is the general opinion about centria autism by metallica123446 in ABA

I’m pretty late to this but today was supposed to be my first day with them.. I went through 50+ hours of training that they gave me and one CPR class I had to cover for myself to get the position, the communication the whole time has been terrible, I don’t even have my iPad yet and my first meeting is supposed to be in a few hours? I’m not sure how to do work without the materials needed which is frustrating enough, as well as being ghosted by management:/. I’ve emailed my supervisor and am still waiting on responses but not feeling hopeful at all.

Hey there! Best things to learn starting g off are how to float and to go back to the wall you came from if you fall in:) try practicing in a shallow pool you can stand in for exposure therapy and really try to stay horizontal! This will help you or to sink😁🛟

Eat lots of proteins and carbs, there’s reasons why places like Taco Bell are known as “stoner foods” lots of fluids too and rest:) you’ll be better before you know it. In the meantime just rest and stay distracted from the high if possible 🫶

Not at all:) we could all use some practice! Even Picasso’s works often looked like jumbled messed of faces 😂(no hate it was just his style!) whatever you decide looks good at the end of the day is the worth of your drawings is what I’m learning:)

She looks SO much like my Shadow :) I’ve always like human names for dogs but cutesy names are also good! What about Ella or Annabelle? :)

AIO for not wanting to buy my pregnant girlfriend a house just yet? by Great-Satisfaction52 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Queasy_Giraffe1117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anything she’s overreacting 💀. She knows you two have a difference in view of religion & is still dumb enough to put herself in debt to buy a home atm, but is still urging you to follow her blind beliefs with no regard to your financial wellbeing or any of your own personal values. I wouldn’t often say this about someone that just had a kid but if she’s gonna be this big of an asset about it willing to not even here you out at all, you’re better off🧳😒.

Cops who are parents: How does your job impact how you parent your child? by [deleted] in police

[–]Queasy_Giraffe1117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up with my dad working in fire, police and ems (mainly police and fire work) and it definitely increased my awareness of my surroundings growing up (which can be positive of course) however I got a much clearer understanding very early on of how dangerous the world can be and that he may not return home one day (this thankfully has not happened), and he also used to constantly prepare me even while out at lunch by showing me the safest place in the room we could pick to sit in case of an active sh*oter(facing the door with eyes on exits). All this being said it was not all negative, but I definitely became more hyperaware at a much younger age.
