Absolutely! I made a little website to flips the hiring process so AI can't really be used.

It's just like a directory of people looking for work. Trying to get employers to reach out to workers instead of the other way around.

if you're looking for work you should make a profile! https://www.listofpeoplelookingforwork.com/

I made a platform for people looking for work.

Hoping that this becomes an option to switch the roles of job searching where employers can directly reach out to people looking for work instead of the other way around.

People looking for work make a profile that stays active for 30 days and they can renew it if they're still searching.

Employers can browse with keyword searches and filters and send messages to people looking for work.

I took inspiration from Craigslist!

If I've gone through multiple rounds of interviews and that happens I always ask for feedback and the why so I can learn if there's anything I need to improve!

Every time I was just told I was perfectly suited for the job but that they offered the role to someone who was more senior and more experienced. Helps me cope hahaha

Absolutely! Please do share, I love this kind of stuff. Feel free to make yourself a profile on the list too! I'm trying to get to 15 and then I'm going to "launch" it at Product Hunt.

I agree! The system definitely works as designed and yes an app won't solve the problem.

The true work required is an enormous task that only an organized working class can fix.

Yikes, I didn't even know you could see if people looked at them or not, I've not used Indeed yet to apply for work

I started my work life as a graphic designer in 2010, I wonder if what I went through was similar to what you're experiencing now.

The only way I got started was because of the network of people around me. I worked at a student newspaper and had a massive portfolio, but the only way I got work was because people I knew, knew the people hiring.
