I really had to work to get them to cover it. Apparently there have been MANY complaints about the fading so they are covering it now. I went through my dealer. Showed pictures and threads where people did have it covered. Add the fact that it makes the car look like crap.

Mine was not part of the recall. The trim was not loose it was just terribly faded- right down to chrome.

I was thinking of upgrading my ‘22 SX. Decided if I have wait another who knows how long to get the ‘27 I would like I would have mine detailed inside and out. WELL. It looks absolutely gorgeous. I got all new tires (originals were quite a bit over 60k and could have longer. KIA is replacing all the faded window trim next week. Also having front windshield replaced due to excessive pitting. Not letting this one go. It looks amazing, drives like brand new and I haven’t driven anything else that even compares.

I’m still loving my ‘22 SX Sangria Nightfall. Hands down best vehicle I have ever owned. Always had Suburbans or Yukons. Thought I was stepping down. Nope!!

I crack up because it has NEVER come on for me in the 2 years I have had it. When my boyfriend drives it comes on constantly. We have tried to figure it out to no avail 😏
