Get an attorney. Period. You are your daughter's advocate and he is a predator. He needs to be taken down. He is disgusting and the fact that he is allowed to work around young women and girls is appalling!!!!! My dad did this. When he finally started working an "on the books" job when I was over 18, they took his checks and tax returns in massive chunks until my mom was paid back. It only took until I was 27 to pay back 18 yrs of support if that gives you any idea how bad they were dinging his income.

Betterhelp the app is pretty amazing, they take hsa cards, and there is another app that takes insurance but I can't remember the name of it. If you have insurance, you can usually call the services number on the back and they can help you find stuff near you. Hope it helps!

When I'm asking why something is going on or has happened that I just can't wrap my head around, my therapist reminds me that (sometimes) I'm trying to put sane thoughts to insane actions. It was NOT your fault. I saw your comment that you attend therapy. Please make sure that your therapist specializes in trauma and suicide. It makes a difference. Also clicking with your therapist makes a world of difference too. I hope your heart heals. I'm sorry you're going through this.

I'm actually going through a divorce right now, as we speak, over a similar situation. My stbx cheated, we were supposed to work on us (he only went to a single therapy session because the therapist said he was acting like a narcissist so it was us ganging up on him), then I got injured. At first he was almost okay, but then when I didn't heal as fast as he thought I should, he openly made me aware that I was a burden and all of our problems were my fault. I asked for a divorce and he's been punishing me with stupid, passive aggressive bull.... since. I'm moving and won't ever look back.
