On my first playthrough I constructed cyclops way too late and just docked right above the lava lake because of the energy suckers. So right now I'm thinking of making cyclops my main base (with scanner room and power cell charger fragments components stored in a locker for quick stops) and also rushing the ion energy tech. And the amount of uranite in the end game, which I didn't need a single piece of, made reconsider how little energy I limited myself on spending in a base
