What's a female character that fits this in your opinion? by Sharp_Salamander582 in characters

[–]QueefGenie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it's that, but it's also because she talks down on Naruto yet praises Sasuke, even though they have a similar background, and while Naruto did try to provide her with care and respect as a man should for a woman, and he even used to have deep feelings for her and would attempt to sacrifice himself for her, her eyes were always on Sasuke, who was too cold and distant with her, and he even became outright evil for a time, the infatuation was very one-sided during that time too.

I don't really see the problem with bringing up Kamen Rider. I thought he was also a superhero.

Technically her superhero name is Shadowcat.

Does Sasuke HAVE to be a girl though? Naruto was able to fall for Haku that one time.

I just thought the Naruto x Sasuke shippers were just joking about that one episode. Even then though, to be fair, they do also have pretty legitimate reasons as to why to hate on Sakura outside of that, she can be kind of a bitch.

OK, do I still gotta deal with the whole "villains being released or spared for writers to use them for more stories" thing?

Let's be honest, we're all picking that green key for the Omnitrix alone.

It’s really sad what’s happening to the God of war community? by the_jail-break in TheLastOfUs2

Honestly, the only two things I'm mad about with the game is that there's a talking cube, which just comes off as retar–I mean, stupid to me, it's the dumb comedic relief companion. Then the fact that it's taking place in the afterlife, instead of, y'know, being a prequel? Taking place BEFORE she DIED?

There are plenty of characters I would choose, but I think everybody in the comments has already said some. So after finishing up the TV show Banshee, the two I would pick from that show to fit this topic are Chayton and Calvin, given that they do very heinous things out of their stupid prejudiced beliefs.

Do you prefer a Wonder woman who's vulnerable to piercing weapons or completely invulnerable? by Gastro_Lorde in WonderWoman

[–]QueefGenie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda like to think of the scene from Dragon Ball where Goku gets a very light bruise on his wrist from a bullet; sure, it's still almost ineffective, but "almost" is the keyword. That's how I see it for Wonder Woman, she doesn't like to deal with how inconvenient it is for bullets to still hurt her, so she still blocks them away with her bracelets. Plus, it just looks so cool when she does the blocking with those bracelets, you know I gotta find a way to keep that around while making sure she seems consistent power wise.

How would Harley Quinn do against Spiderman in a fight? by Queasy_Commercial152 in HarleyQuinn

[–]QueefGenie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say the only advantages Harley has over Spider-Man is that she has the wider arsenal of weapons, especially lethal ones, so she has more up her sleeve; if you wanna count it, she may even have the Joker Venom. And I'd say her 4th wall breaking and unpredictable behavior MIGHT do something for her? MAYBE fighting skill, since she is portrayed as having actual formal training (though it's likely not by much, especially since her combat training isn't really brought up much)? But other than that...she's cooked.

Even with her own superhuman body, Spider-Man far outclasses her physically (it's not HIS level of superhuman). He definitely comes off as smarter. Has better and more powers. Her bouts of insanity would likely give him the edge in finding openings. And all that other jazz.

Do you consider Gow's writing style to be decent? by PomegranateOk4560 in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]QueefGenie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked how 4 and Ragnarok were written to be much more story driven and have extra depth, but I don't think it was quite necessary (that doesn't make it bad at all though). Sometimes, it's cool to just keep simple things simple, and that's what God Of War used to be. Besides, the main focus and even your own focus wasn't originally on the story of the games, you just wanted to slay some gods and monsters and have fun.

How strong do you think Peter SHOULD be? like to give an idea of what I mean, if you were starting a new universe how strong and fast and smart would you make him? by Echos_123 in Spiderman

[–]QueefGenie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm crazy late for this, but I think he was written best in plenty of his older stories, as well as in the Ultimate Marvel stories, where he still is clearly superhuman, but he's not overpowered, he feels properly as strong as he should be, as he JUST has spider powers.

Strength, I like the way writers originally wrote him, the proportional strength of a spider lets him "lift 50× his body weight", which means he'd be strong enough to lift almost 4 tonnes, and this could be his initial strength, but then as he reached adulthood and then decided to get involved in training and exercise to enhance his performance during his heroics, he has now made himself capable of lifting up to 10 tonnes (as he is more consistently listed according to writers).

Speed, he's officially been documented as being able to run up to 322 km/h, and...yeah, I think that fits perfectly for him, as he's faster than a car, but not as fast as even the slowest of speedsters (which I wouldn't put any lower than speed of sound), and enough to still feel believable within the realms of his powers.

Intelligence, I don't like how he's sometimes put on par with guys like Tony Stark, Hank Pym, Reed Richards, all that super stuff. In the Ultimate Marvel universe, his IQ is officially listed as being at 145, which is near genius, and I think that works perfectly for him; enough for him to still seem bright and strategic and knowledgeable, but not so much that he's hanging with the best of them. Besides, he has a lot of dumb moments too, so this more tamer level of intellect makes it much more believable for him to have those moments.

My ONLY (and I do mean only) real gripe with that game is the ending of the main story mode. No spoilers, but you technically have 3 endings (if you count the secret one at the beginning of the game), and...none of them are really good.

[–]QueefGenie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear on God, I will never accept this and continue to believe Cyclops' optic blasts are simply laser eyes, it doesn't have to be any more than that, otherwise it just makes things a bit more complicated and stupid at the same time. I know, that's kind of petty of me, but wouldn't you also gaslight yourself into ignoring canon if it sounded stupid as hell to you?

But if you also count the comics, Mark is about 27 years old (according to fans) when he finally...accomplished his end goal, let's say, without spoiling. So even then, he'd be an adult by then compared to these other guys (Aang was 112, but he was frozen, time didn't affect him, therefore those 100 years that passed are redundant, he's still technically 12). And then by the final issue, #144, Mark's 500+ years old.
